on April, the weather starts to get cold bring Jacket or Sweater and Umbrella with you coz it is the time that the weather starts to change so there's no wonder if there's rain during the day.
I recommend you to go to "Taronga Zoo", it's amazing, i love it anyway your kids will enjoy watching "Seal Show" or if you doesn't want to take ferry, you'd better go to Darling Harbor, there you can go to "Sydney Aquarium" and "wildife world" instead. here you have whole day to enjoy shopping up until 5pm except on Thursday, which all shop will close at 9pm,
But don't worried, if you are staying in the city and just suddenly starving during the night, you can still go to "Thai Town" which is just opposite to China Town and have some nice Thai, Korean, Japanese food these restaurant still open up until 0.00 am and supermarket like woolworths or coles open up until 10.00pm
Plus, there're more tourist attraction to go like Sydney Opera house, it's in Circular Quay, there you can enjoy playing Jet Boat and watching aboriginal arts from the aborigins along the way from city rail to opera house.
And if you wanna try fresh seafood, take tram from paddy market to fish market and you can then enjoy eating fresh sea food in a cheaper price!!
