1. City Area
1.1 Union Square the landmark of shopping, you will find so many department stores such as Saks fifth Avenue,
Nieman Marcus, Macys, Bloomingdales, etc. and brand name shops.
Dont miss some fancy restaurants Cheese Cake factory at 7th. Floor at Macys,
Colibri Mexican Bristro at Geary St.
(check the address at www.sanfrancisco.com).
Brunch at Sears Fine Restaurant, they claim the original SF restaurant something, on Powell St. up to the hill from Union Square about 2-3 blocks but you may need to line for 15-20 min.
Dim Sum at Yang Sing at Rincon Sqaure, 1st St, walk from Union Square 6-7 blocks, a little bit far by feet but it is so delicious.
At the end of Powell St. and Market St. it is the cable car station and tourist information center. You can buy City Pass here, 7 days pass for 49 USD.
It is useful for riding cable car, MUNI (buses) and some line of BART (underground), tickets to enter museums, bay cruise.
1.2 Chinatown As the same as Chinatown around the world but at the opposite of the Chinatown Gate, on Bush St.,
there is French Restaurant named de presses dont miss this one too.
1.3 Fishermans Wharf At Pier 39 walking around till Pier 41, you may take bay cruise here. Keep going to Boudin Museum & Baker and Seafood Res. Especially giant crab.
If you are ice cream and chocolate lover, you must visit Ghiradelli Chocolate Store.
1.4 Golden Gate Bridge & Golden Gate Park In the park, there are Japanese Tea Garden, de Young Museum, Conservatory, Legion of Honor.
1.5 Lombard St., Little Italy, Exploratorium, etc.
2. Suburb Area
1.2 Sausalito a little cute bayside village.
2.2 Muir Woods As the same route as Sausalito, it is redwoods forest and national monument.
3.2 Monterey & Carmel Take Scenic Highway 1. It is awesome coast way. Visiting 17 Mile Drive to Pebble Beach (Golf ).
4.2 Napa Valley Winery & Vineyard .
5.2 Tahoe Lake - the area of ski resort and scenic place
