Valid Train Routes
Unlimited travel on local, limited express and express trains including Shinkansens on the following rail company lines:
* JR East Lines
* Izu Kyuko Lines
* Hokuetsu Kyuko Railway Hokuhoku Lines
* Tobu Railway – local trains between Shimo-imaichi and Tobu-nikko/Kinugawa-onsen Stations. Also, the following Tobu Railway limited express trains: the Nikko, the Spacia Nikko, the Kinugawa and the Spacia Kinugawa
＋The JR East Pass Special can be used on the following Shinshu (Nagano) area railways in addition to the trains noted above.
* Shinano Railways

* Ueda Electric Railways
* Matsumoto Electric Railways
Note:
The JR East Pass Special is not valid for the Tokaido Shinkansen as that is operated by a different rail company.
The JR East Pass Special is not valid for the Tokyo Monorail connecting Haneda Airport and Hamamatsucho Station.
The JR East Pass Special is not valid for JR buses.
