Osaka Unlimited Pass - is it worthwhile? 2010/10/15
I and my husband will be traveling with our teenage son & daughter(17 & 13 yo) this Dec to Japan for the first time. We will be staying in Osaka for three days where we will spend most of a day at the Universal Studio. For the other two days, i am thinking of getting the two day Osaka Unlimited Pass for 2,700 yen. Info on the website makes the offer very attractive, with entry/visit to 26 places free. Osaka Castle and the Floating Garden Observatory are on my list of places to visit and it appears that the Tsutenkaku Tower and the Museum of Housing and Living also rather interesting. I have rescheduled our days so that we will be in Osaka from Wed to Friday, where most attractions are open. Has anyone used the pass? would you recommend it? By the way the Kaiyukan Aquarium sounds great and we will likely visit it too (though outside of the Pass offer).Thanks!

Yes, it would pay off for you after the first two locations. I recommend Tsutenkaku Tower and the area around it (to the south of), a very interesting area.
