    MARIAH NOMINATED TO ALMAS AWARDS 4/4/2006  

    Mariah has been nominated in the category of "Best Female Performance" at this year’s 11th Annual Alma’s Awards Ceremony, which will be held at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles on 7 May, 2006.

    These awards are given to the artists of latin origin.

    Other artists nominated in this category are Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

    This show is currently scheduled to air on June 5, 2006 on ABC.
