Diva Diana Ross says she's finally seen it (Dreamgirls). She told musician friend
Robert Brawn yesterday " wow ! well, you know I'm into the hair and makeup the
gowns and the glamour, and as a "story", it's wonderful. I'm afraid though that
people are going to think that it's biographical, which it is not. Hey, I was there.
I lived it. Our highs were much higher, our lows much lower than the events in the picture. There was so much more to it. I don't think even I could write a version for the screen that would capture our story in just a few hours. I am though, truly grateful that what we did 40 years ago has paved the way for such talent."
