The current issue of influential british urban magazine "Blues & Soul" has a feature interview from Joss Stone. In this interview Mariah pops up:
...Stone is modest about her soulful pipes. "There are songs that Ive written which I cant sing. I dont think Im a great singer. I have a nice tone but Im not a real singer like Mariah or a Whitney. Theyre amazing. I Dont think Im in their league. Im more of a feel type of singer. I get very emotional when I sing and Im just basically a raw type of singer, maybe not technically brilliant."
