Now let's talk about why Michael chose GILDA a black and white film made in 1946. This exact film was referenced in This Is It during the SMOOTH CRIMINAL segment. Let's take a look at Gilda's synopsis.
Small-time crooked gambler Johnny Farrell is saved from a gunman by sinister Ballin Mundson, who later makes Johnny his right-hand man. Then Ballin returns from a trip with his beautiful wife Gilda. She's having affairs with others and Johnny has to do a lot so that Ballin doesn't find out the truth about his wife.
Ballin is approached by two Nazis who run a secret organization and are trying to cover up financing a metal cartel by using Ballin's name as owner. Ballin refuses to give over ownership and kills one of the nazis.
SHORTLY AFTER BALLIN BOARDS A PLANE, THE PLANE EXPLOADES INTO THE OCEAN. AFTER HIS DEATH GILDA AND JOHNNY GETS MARRIED. BUT LATER BALLIN REAPPEARS, ARMED WITH A GUN!
BALLIN HAD FAKES HIS DEATH TO DECEIVE THE NAZIS, PARACHUTING OUT OF THE PLANE UNDETECTED BEFORE IT EXPLODED.
WHICH CHARACTER MJ CHOOSE TO PLAY?
B A L L I N !!!!!
Are you guys still gonna think it's just a coincidence that MJ played a character who dissappeared for sometime and later reappeared? Then THINK twice! (ช่วยแปลหน่อยค่ะ เค้าว่าไงคะ)
