สองสถานีใหญ่ของอังกฤษต้องอลหม่าน เมื่อดิว่ามารายห์แครี่ต้องเปลี่ยนแผนกระทันหัน เพราะต่างฝ่ายต่างต้องการให้มารายห์ไปออกรายการของตัวเอง ทั้ง Strictly Come Dancing และ X Factor ตามข่าวมารายห์ได้ถูกวางตัวไปออกรายการ Strictly แต่ Simon แห่ง X Factor ก็คงอยากได้ตัวมารายห์เหมือนกัน สุดท้ายมารายห์เลยต้องเปลี่ยนตารางยกเลิกอีกสถานีมาอัดรายการ X Factor
ซึ่งในเหตุการณ์นี้ ทาง BBC ก็ได้กล่าวถึงความรุ้สึกที่ทางมารายห์ยกเลิกการอัดรายการของทางสถานีว่าตัวเองว่า 'completely unprofessional' จริงๆที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตารางคิวแบบนี้

Networks War Over Mariah
ITV has triumphed in an almighty behind-the-scenes battle with the BBC after both organisations wanted Mariah Carey to appear on their flagship entertainment shows.
The American singer pulled out of Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing at short notice to the fury of BBC chiefs and will now be seen exclusively on The X Factor next Sunday.
She had been 'provisionally booked' to perform on Strictly but dropped out when X Factor supremo Simon Cowell told her representatives she could not be on both networks. Her slot was filled by performers from the West End show Jersey Boys.
A BBC spokesman said: 'We had hoped to have Mariah Carey on the show but her schedule changed and made it impossible.' Sources at the corporation said last night that BBC executives felt it was 'completely unprofessional' for Miss Carey to pull out of the provisional booking.
The singer recorded her X Factor performance yesterday - and lived up to her reputation as the queen of divas when she left her hotel late to go to the studio after a disagreement over her limousine. One top of the range - but relatively anonymous - Mercedes was replaced by a more exclusive £250,000 Mercedes Maybach.
