Britney breaks record in Sydney  

Britney Spears Aistencia breaks record in Sydney, Australia
With four concerts in Sydney, Britney Spears has become the artist with the highest ticket sales with the arrival of his tour in the sand Circus Acer.

Britney has sold 66,247 tickets for its tour appearances with the Circus there, breaking a record that belonged to the British band Coldplay, which in March 2009 had the top spot with 59,391 entries.

Having broken the record Britney received a plaque of recognition for its high sales and posed for a photo together with representatives of the sand - Paul Dainty, David Humphreys and Don Elford - this minutes before the show began.

Here the current list of artists who have sold more tickets at Acer Arena:

1. Britney Spears - November 2009
2. Coldplay - March 2009
3. Justin Timberlake - October 2007
4. Eagles - November 2004
5. Red Hot Chili Peppers - April 2007
6. Bette Midler - April 2005
7. Neil Diamond - March 2005
