The latest China-based idol group i Me probably appeals to a wider fanbase because of its multinational member lineup. Jointly backed by Asia's entertainment giants, namely China's EE-Media, Korea's Doremi Music, and Thailand's true fantasia, the ambitious girl group is a project two years in the making, during which the members received intensive training in singing and dancing. Picked from tens of thousands of candidates, i Me is formed by Super Girl 2009 finalists Mocika, Mikan, and Niki, plus PureNess (Korean) and Zara (Thai). Targeting fans of the post-1990s generation, the sweet and sexy i Me girls are debuting this summer with an EP produced by the people behind boy band Top Combine. i Me's maiden EP comes with six tracks, including the titular main plug Ai Yi Ya.
