4. Jaclyn Victor - Malaysia - The first Malaysian Idol, known for her vocal prowess. In this video, she is performing her song "Gemilang".
5. Utada Hikaru (宇多田 ヒカル) - Japan - One of the best selling artist from Asia, Utada also made a crossover to the American market with some of her singles charting in the Billboard charts. In this video, she is performing "You Make Me Want To Be A Man".
6. Charice Pempengco - The Philippines - A young diva and the first Asian artist to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States. She has performed with Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and many others. In this video, she is singing her song "Always You" in her country.
7. BoA (권보아) -South Korea - One of the most successful Korean artists and a K-Pop princess. In this video, she is performing her Japanese single "Meri Kuri" (メリクリ) in her concert. She cried after the performance.
8. Ziana Zain - Malaysia - One of the most successful Malaysian artists. She is known for her vocal prowess. In this video, she is performing her song "Anggapanmu".
9. Agnes Monica - Indonesia - A Indonesian artist who is famous throughout South-East Asia. She is known for her dancing skills and vocal prowess. In this video, she is singing her song "Tereskanlah".
10. Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎 あゆみ) - Japan - The Queen of J-Pop and Asia's best selling female artist of all time with 50 million records sold and also famous throughout East & South-East Asia. She is known for the deep lyrics she wrote. In this video, she is performing her song "You Were". One thing you might want to know is that her left ear was already disabled (deft) during that performance.
11. Siti Nurhaliza - Malaysia - Dubbed "The Voice of Asia" by MTV Asia Awards, she is famous throughout South-East Asia. In this video, she is performing her song "Seindah Biasa" at MTV Asia Awards.
12. Regine Velasquez - The Philippines - Dubbed "Asia's Songbird", she is the most successful female artist in the Philippines. She is known for her high belting which has been followed by female artists in her country. In this video, she is performing her song "I'll Never Say Goodbye".
13. Jane Zhang (张靓颖 or 張靚穎) - China - She is dubbed "The Dolphin Princess" for her ability to sing in the whistle register. She is a versatile singer who can sing pretty much everything from traditional Chinese style music to R&B. She has performed in the Oprah Winfrey Show once. I forgot the song name but you can find the clip in youtube.
