rating tweettweet5tweet Go to Forum 0 | Reply 11 The members of Block B, who found themselves in some hot water for their offensive comments and attitude during an interview in Thailand, are at the center of another controversy, but, this time, it involves insensitive remarks made during a past interview in Japan.
On February 19, a video clip was uploaded of a past interview they gave in Japan on an online community board. In it, member Kyung says, “Right now there’s a tsunami raging outside. We will sweep over here like a tsunami,” while another member makes a tsunami motion with his hands while laughing.
The translator opted to leave out the tsunami comments as Japan was suffering from the aftermath of a tsunami at the time. Since the video was posted, netizens have commented, “Do these kids have brains?” “What does it matter if they apologize since they’re still acting thoughtlessly” and “I don’t even feel Block B’s apology is heartfelt.”
Meanwhile, the Block B members’ behavior during the controversial interview in Thailand has now spilled over to involve other celebrities like U-KISS member Dong Ho. On February 20, Dong Ho tweeted, “7,000 won-worth artists” in reference to the much-criticized interview in which Block B said it hoped its donation towards the flood relief would help and then insensitively joked that all they had was about 7,000 won.
Dong Ho’s tweet was quickly deleted and a new tweet was posted saying, “I think I tweeted without thinking. I apologize. I will be more careful in the future.” ----------------------------------- เข้าไปดูเองล่ะกันนะ
