Barry was introduced by Ricky Skaggs for his first live performance at the Grand Ole Opry, July 27th  2012 in Nashville.

Ricky: "I'm gonna have a friend come out and sing with me who is the 2nd highest grossing song writer in history. He wrote and sang on a song on my upcoming CD"

Barry Gibb and Ricky Skaggs were then singing "When The Roses Bloom Again", and Barry also did: To Love Somebody and How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.
