Main Plot of story:

Zhao Jia Le is a happy girl who enjoys shopping and hanging around with her three best friends [Ma Li, Ai Ren, Wang Bao Zhu]. She even made up a band with them. One of her friends, Wang Bao Zhu's brother, Wang Bao Long starts to like Zhao Jia Le a long time ago, but because he was too fat, a lot of people didn't even look at him. In Zhao Jia Le's whole life she has been wanting true happiness like her little auntie. The first time she ever saw true happiness was at her little auntie's wedding day. At that time she was still a very little girl..

Her little auntie was forced to marry this guy who she did not like [I think] and she had to leave the guy she liked. But on the way to the wedding [Jia Le and her auntie was sitting in the same car], the guy her little auntie liked came and stood in front of her car by his motorbike. Jia Le sees him willing to die for her little auntie and remembers that as "true happiness"

So after a few years her friend Wang Bao Zhu and her brother Wang Bao Long returns from America. But Wang Bao Long isn't fat anymore. Actually he was pretty cute. But he tells her that he lost wait because of the girl he loved [Jia Le].

Then there was this day when Jia Le was driving her in a hurry to meet her friends then the car accidently slipped. At that time, a truck was coming her direction. All Jia Le did was scream. Then finally she opened her eyes, and saw Lu Ying Feng there with his arms wide open like her little auntie's lover. But to Lu Ying Feng, he wasn't rescuing her. Instead, he was doing something else [cant remember what], but he wasn't intending on rescuing her. So from that day onwards, she keeps on looking for Lu Ying Feng.

Then after the help of her friends, she finds out that Lu Ying Feng works for this television chanel, I think he was a manager of something?!?... Well, anyway, Jia Le thanks Lu Ying Feng for rescuing her but he treats her really coldy [this is very similar to Hua Zhe Le at first treating Shan Cai]. He looks like he thinks she annoying. But Jia Le doesn't give up and invites him to her birthday. Lu Ying Feng comes along to her birthday with a girl on his arm. Jia Le gets upset but later they find out that the girl isn't his girlfriend, he was just saying it so that Jia Le could give up, but instead Jia Le told Lu Ying Feng that she likes him. But Wang Bao Long also planed to tell Jia Le that he liked her on that night, but instead he heared Jia Le talk about her love for Lu Ying Feng.

Even though Lu Ying Feng told Jia Le that he does not like her, Jia Le still does not give up. She even works in his company picking up calls. But Lu Ying Feng still treated her really badly and doesn't even smile at her. Then there was this one day when Jia Le helped out this girl in a pub who is a friend of Lu Ying Feng, she worked there the whole night and after that, Lu Ying Feng and her started chatting. She was showing him her braces, and it really looked like they were kissing. Bao Long sees them and gets jealous. I think at that time, Lu Ying Feng starts to have a crush on Jia Le. Then there was this day when Lu Ying Feng was doing a delivery thing and went to Wang Bao Long's house. So they started talking. Bao Long told Lu Ying Feng not to hurt Jia Le because before Jia Le met Lu Ying Feng, she was a happy little girl, and now she has sacrificed so much for him. Listening to this, Lu Ying Feng decides not to have any furthur relationship with Jia Le because Lu Ying Feng was hurt from his last relationship and still hasn't mended his broken heart. So he told Jia Le to quit her job because he really hates her because she always wears pink little a barbie doll and left Jia Le in the rain....

The next day, Jia Le stays in her bedroom crying her eyes out and her three best friends all try to cheer her up but it doesn't work. Finally, after some time, she tells them that she will not give up because she knows that they are there for her and because they're her friends. At the same time, Lu Ying Feng is at the work place and sees that Le is not at work. Then someone tells Lu Ying Feng that Le did not come to work and has not called them to give the reason. Lu Ying Feng tells them that Le has quited. The next day, Le goes to work again without wearing pink!! Everyone is suprised and she asks Lu Ying Feng to give her another chance. Lu Ying Feng tells her that he said pretty bad stuff on that day and told her to forget about it. Then the following couple of days Lu Ying Feng and Le get closer. Now, Lu Ying Feng would actually smile at Le, before he'd just look annoyed whenever she's there. They go on this trip together to advertise their newest product [some bathers]. And they got closer during that time. Because no one is willing to buy the product, Le finds out a way that could be helpful. She asks Lu Ying Feng's permission but then they realise that it was way over their budget to decorate the bathers. But then Le made a bet with Lu Ying Feng saying that she'd do everything herself in three days and if she could, he'd have to invite her out to dinner!!! Then after that, she wins her bet and Lu Ying Feng sees her so willing to win the bet that she does not even sleep for three days. By this time it's obvious that Lu Ying Feng likes Le. Because of Le's bright idea, she is then moved from picking up phone calls to helping out Lu Ying Feng as a job and she is very happy!! Because, Valentine's Day was approaching they had to come up with this new product to sell, so they went along the streets looking for a product. They looked like a cute couple!! Le then reminds Lu Ying Feng that he still has to invite her to dinner.. and she chooses tomorrow as the day. Lu Ying Feng agrees not knowing that "tomorrow" was Valentines Day! When Valentines Day finally came, Le was happy and excited. She all of a sudden recieved a phone call telling her that her parents are back and they are fighting and want a divorce. Because of the argument Le forgot the date with Lu Ying Feng, when she finally remembered she set off quickly but was a little late.

But when she arrived, Lu Ying Feng was still there. They ate dinner together but Lu Ying Feng was in a rush the whole time. He comes up the lame excuse that the reason why he's in a rush was because he wanted to pick up this really good looking girl. But Le knew it wasn't true. Lu Ying Feng treated Le as if she was just this person and they had nothing between them. After dinner, Lu Ying Feng rushed out and it was raining. Le followed him and they talked. Lu Ying Feng says stuff like he will never go out with her and that she doesn't know anything about him. Le tells him that she loves him a lot and asks what she has to do to make him like her. With that, i think it was to prove that she liked him she ran in front of a car and asked him if this was enough to prove that she liked him. He pulled her in and they look at each other coldy. Then Lu Ying Feng pushes her towards him and they kiss!!! *so sweet* And they hug each other at this shelther place because it was still raining heavily. Meanwhile, Wang Bao Long was also waiting for Le but Ai Ren ended up going and giving him the advise to tell Le. After sending Le home, Lu Ying Feng happily goes to the pub. And sees Wang Bao Long there. They drink until they were drunk and exchanged secrets. Wang Bao Long tells Lu Ying Feng that he was once kidnapped. And Lu Ying Feng tells Wang Bao Long that he is actually a gangster and has this girl that will do anything bad to the girls that hang around with him. At that moment they just laughed. In the morning when they woke up, they realised that the secret was true because Le was kidnapped. And to get Le back Wang Bao Long pretended to be Le's boyfriend and kissed her in front of Lu Ying Feng.

At first Jing Jing (the girl who kidnapped Le) believed that Le and Lu Ying Feng had nothing to do with each other, but after thinking more about it, she realised that they looked and felt suspicious. So she tied Le up in a room and locked her in there. Lu Ying Feng and Wang Bao Long also tried many ways to rescue her but it didnกฏt work. Lu Ying Feng even wanted to ask Ma Ye (head of this gangster group; Jing Jingกฏs father, also the guy who accepted Lu Ying Feng and gave him a place to stay when Lu Ying Fengกฏs parents were killed. Heกฏs also considered as Lu Ying Fengกฏs god-father). But his plan didnกฏt work. In the end he asks Ah Hao (Lu Ying Fengกฏs god-brother also the god-son of Ma Ye) along with Ma Li, Ai Ren, Bao Zhu and Bao Long for help. They safely rescued Le out. Ma Li and Ai Ren warns Le to leave Lu Ying Feng because they think that he is nothing but trouble and the more she stays with him, the more trouble there will be for her. But Le chooses not to leave him; instead because of the kidnapping incident their relationship became stronger. The scene at the beach was really sweet!!!
Jing Jing asks Bao Long to team up with her to break Lu Ying Feng and Le apart but Bao Long does not want to do so, but he offered to be her friend.

The television channelกฏs company finds out that their owner is Ma Ye, the head of the gangsters and all the people who worked there was fairly scared. Ma Ye pays the company a visit and in front of him everyone were shaking and nervous. However, Le stayed the same and explained to Ma Ye about one of the products they sold. Before Ma Ye came, he had already heard about Le being Lu Ying Fengกฏs girlfriend and he already knew from ages ago that Jing Jing liked Lu Ying Feng. However, he did not act as if he hated Le or anything. When Lu Ying Feng finally arrives at the company, Ma Ye was about to leave after having a chat with Le and laughing. Ma Ye tells Lu Ying Feng to invite Le to dinner one day...............................

On that day of the dinner, Le is nervous and wonders weird stuff like if she should buy a present and stuff like that. But Lu Ying Feng assures her that it will be fine. At the dinner, Le finds out that her parents were invited as well. Before the dinner Ma Ye had planned for Ah Hao to keep on talking about their life as a gangster in front of Leกฏs parents. So at the dinner that was what Ah Hao did. He told Leกฏs parents that Lu Ying Feng was Leกฏs boyfriend and he had a gangster background too, although he does not look or seem like a gangster. Leกฏs parents get a bit scared of Le going out with Lu Ying Feng. But Lu Ying Feng tried to convince them that he really loves Le and that heกฏll protect her and be with her. But Leกฏs parents remained uncertain. After the dinner, Leกฏs parents told Le to leave Lu Ying Feng, however Le cries and tells them that she really loves him and wants them to congratulate them going out not saying they canกฏt continue their relationship. Seeing their daughter crying, Leกฏs parents had no other choice but leave it up to her to decide. Le is happy and tells Lu Ying Feng about the good news.
Ma Ye calls Le to come to his house and he convinces her to sell this dieting tea for their next product. Le, wanting to give Lu Ying Feng a surprise, she plans everything about selling the tea even the commercial. When Lu Ying Feng sees the commercial he is very upset with Le. He explains to her that it wasnกฏt because he couldnกฏt sell the product, but because he didnกฏt want to sell the product and that was why he never wanted to agree with Ma Ye to sell the tea in the first place. They have their little argument and Le is upset.
Lu Ying Feng has a sad and depressing childhood. He lost his parents in a fire (or was it a flood?!?!?), and it was luck that he didnกฏt die along with them. Because at that time, he hid in the wardrobe and continuously cried while his parents were in the house but not under any protection. By the time the firemen smoothed the fire out, there was already no signs of Lu Ying Fengกฏs parents. And there was this particular fireman who came up to the wardrobe and rescued him. But Le refuses because she knew that the lighter was very precious to him. But Lu Ying Feng tells her that because the lighter is important, that is why heกฏs giving it to her. Lu Ying Feng also tells her that from then on his image of the graceful sea with the refection of the sun is with her. Le is touched.
Ah Hao finds out that Wang Bao Long isnกฏt the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wong. Instead, his mother should actually be Lu Ying Fengกฏs friend, Mei Yung. Ah Hao, following Ma Yeกฏs plan, tells Mei Yung that if she does not pay him this large amount of money, heกฏd tell Bao Long the truth. Mei Yung does not want Bao Long to know that he has a mother who hardly can earn herself a living to stay alive and who smokes and drinks. So she borrows money from Tan Shu (whoกฏs her old friend and the housekeeper/slave of Bao Zhu and Bao Long. Tan Shu also knows that Bao Long is her son). Tan Shu struggles to get the money but because heกฏs liked her for a long time, he still manages. Ah Hao tells Mei Yung to put the money is a specified bank account. The bank account was owned by Lu Ying Feng. But he did not know what was happening. Continuing the plan, Ah Hao planned for someone to กฐaccidentallyกฑ show Le a copy of the receipt for Mei Yung putting her money in Lu Ying Fengกฏs account. She does not want to accuse Lu Ying Feng of anything.
At that time, Bao Long and Bao Zhu accuse Mei Yung of tricking Tan Shu for his money just because heกฏs liked her for a long time. And when Le approaches them asking them if they knew anything about money Tan Shu had put into Lu Ying Fengกฏs account, they suspected that Mei Yung and Lu Ying Feng were working together to trick Tan Shuกฏs money. At that time, Jing Jing is at Lu Ying Fengกฏs house. She has sort of given up on Lu Ying Feng and wants a goodbye hug. So he hugs her while she is crying. Just at this time, Le comes to his house and sees them hugging. Le is upset and walks away. Bao Long tries cheering her up.
Lu Ying Feng sees all the things that are happening between Le and him because of his gangster background so he chooses to leave Ma Ye and tries to have nothing to do with his once-gangster-background. But because Ma Ye had looked after him when he has still little and had no parents, he had to find a way to thank him. So he took a pair nearby scissors and stabbed himself in the arm. Watching this, both Ma Ye and Ah Hao are shocked. With that, he leaves Ma Yeกฏs house.
Ah Hao is angry that because of a girl, Lu Ying Feng wants to leave Ma Ye. So he calls Le out and lies to her that he wants to talk to her and tell her some secrets about Lu Ying Feng. So Bao Long drives Le to the place and lets her wait there while he goes to park the car. Le is standing there waiting while Lu Ying Feng calls her. Lu Ying Feng is on the streets injured and his face is all white, but he wanted to tell her the news. At that time, Ah Hao comes in with a knife aiming at Le. Bao Long sees this and stands in front of Le and is stabbed. And before Lu Ying Feng got the chance to tell her, over the phone he heard her scream and didnกฏt pick up the phone again.
At the hospital, Bao Zhu is upset and angry with Le. She is talking to Ai Ren and Ma Li but is overheard by Le. She tells them that because Le is going out with Lu Ying Feng, all sorts of trouble come to them. All three of them treat Le badly when they see her. Le is hurt and upset. Tan Shu tells all four of the girls to go home and rest and heกฏll look after Bao Long. So that was what they did. When Le got home, he saw Lu Ying Feng standing there waiting for her. His arm was bandaged so it did not look like anything had happened. Lu Ying Feng offered to explain to Le. But Le, feeling upset, asks him what he wants to explain. Does he want to explain the money? The kidnapping? The dinner where her parents ended up coming? The hug? Or why one of her best friends got stabbed?
