Not Getting Along
On Taozi's show, she asks Jerry whether F3 would ignore Jerry: "Do they get angry at you?"
Jerry: "No, they just beat me up!"
"We have heard numerous rumours about F4 in the past year, are they true? Is what is said, what actually happening? F4 are so popular around Asia, they have a strong friendship bond, they know each other so well...Jerry says that he is already immuned against rumours about them not getting along. Jerry: "We rely on each other for help and support. It's something you don't experience unless you are in the army."
ZZ: " I'm very happy to know them. People say that showbiz is dark, but I'm glad I have gotten to befriend these three people. I know that when we work together, everyone will be very happy." - Apple Daily
My Much interview, Jerry: "After working with them, I feel that everyone is very serious about their work, that is very important. Especially in this circle, we often face difficulties and it is time like those that we need each other's support and encouragement. It does not matter what others say about us, I just know that we are the best of friends."
Disband?
The Story 1 year ago:
F4's reason for disbanding is not what the public thinks it is. In actual fact, it is because F4 members, Ken and ZZ must join the army. After the broadcast of <<MG>>, these has been many rumours about F4 not getting along, hence they can not work together for long. To this, their managers naturally denied. The real reason is that Ken and ZZ must join the army, hence their managers do not know how to plan for their future. Jerry has already served his time, whilst ABC Vanness does not have to deal with the issue.
It has come time for ZZ to join the army but when he was having a health check, they found a problem in the blood test - he was pin xue. This is due to excessive workload and exhuastion due to filming of Ping Qiong. But as til now, no finalization on that issue as yet." - 2001 news.
Story 1 year later:
Cable TV: Will F4 still work together as a group?
Ken: (laughs) I have been asked this question over 200 times. In actual fact, we have always said, we are not a group. We united to film a serial, which required four gusy. These four characters were much loved, that's why we temporarily appeared as them. We never said we would be a group, so there's no such thing as disbanding. Dan Fei, is just the matter doing our own things. When things require us four, we would naturally unite again and collaborate. I think this is the best for all of us. That way, we can go further and also it eliminates lots of unnecessary hassles."
Question: What do you think about all these reports about not getting along...
Ken: "That is so boring. Everytime we read it...it's like...not again! So boring..."
Question: Do you encourage each other?
Ken: "Of course...everyone's work is different. I have my life, they have theirs. I film in China, Vanness films in HK, we have our own problems to deal with but we call each other and tell each other to jia you!" - Cable TV interview
Well...that's it for this time! Let the rumours flow...as long as we know what to believe, the rumours won't get to us. Believe in yourself and believe in F4!
