Hope Enterprise Planning General Manager, had his education in the US and graduated with a MBA. Returns to Taiwan after his studies and a clash of culture amazes him and takes a interest in it. Frequents pubs with his ABC (american-born chinese) friends and shopping to relieve his stress. Facing enormous pressure from his work and his cleaniness-obsessed aunt, he gradually finds himself developing a compulsive streak. Even though he appears normal to people, he finds himself doing repetitive actions again and again. But he manages to find calm and security in the arms of An-An.

An-an played be Hebe
Her grandpa is a drama play actor while her father is part of a getai singing group. Because of her father occupation, An-an from young starts to learn singing and dancing and always filters from place to place to perform. (this part is adapated from Shang Liang 3 Jie Mei lifestory). Because of her vagrant lifestyle from young, An-an develops a character that defies logic, accepts everything that comes along, and a fierce determination. After she meets Zhenkai, she begins another new adventure and although it look interesting at first, but after intervention from Zhenkai aunt, she finds that she and Zhenkai are from 2 totally different worlds. She starts to feel inferior and her relationship with Zhenkai becomes strained.

Hope Enterprise besides being in charge of manufacturing tomato juice, it also has investments in various industries, including real estate properties. 1 day, the company invited a performing singing/dance group to perform as part of its marketing promotion. Zhenkai (Vanesse) was present and witnessed the public laughing at An-an (Hebe) who was making a lot of mistakes performing on stage and was immensely drawn to her.
Backstage, An-an father who was director of the group, chided her for laughing sheepishly on stage even though she was making mistakes and sully his reputation. An-an was very upset and Zhenkai came over to console her. This was their first meeting and both of them have a good impression of each other. To cheer her up, Zhenkai took An-an for a spin in his sports car and during the trip, both took to singing at loud voices and enjoyed a thrilling ride.
Zhenkai then send An-an back home and was caught red-handed by her father. In actual fact, An-an father had set a rule for his group members who were not to fall in love before 25 years old or they will be expelled. An-an was severely given a scolding in front of all the group members and subsequently thrown out of the group.
Zhenkai then arranged for her to work at his factory and frequently checked on her on the pretext of doing routine checks. He even took to working along beside her by changing to factory worker clothes. But this soon caught the attention of Zhenkai aunt. An-an later took Zhenkai to the night markets to savour all the tasty food, unknown to Zhenkai himself, his compulsive streak was gradually getting more stable with the time spent with An-an.
Zhenkai's aunt although she admires An-an cheerful, bubbly personality, in actual fact though, she highlights her inadequacies and points out to her that she and Zhenkai belongs to 2 extremes world. An-an understood her point and promises to leave Zhenkai.
An-an is left heart-broken and with no one to turn to, she decides to seek her father forgiveness who accepts it and An-an seeks to forget Zhenkai by training dilligently in her singing and dance movments.
After Zhenkai repeated visits, An-an softens her stance and decides to get back along with him who proposes to her. When Zhenkai's aunt learnt about it, she rushes down and creates a ruckus and heated discussion with An-an father. An-an father was furious and forbids An-an to be with Zhenkai.
On the day of the wedding, everyone was waiting for An-an to appear but she did not, Zhenkai was left heart-broken...at the same time, An-an was just getting prepared to go on stage to perform and was feeling rather anxious, suddenly her groupmate appeared in the same clothng as An-an, hinting her to go while she takes her place, will An-an make it in time....
