Jerry Wants to Pay to Refilm MV
Jerry always wants to be perfect and this is a known fact in the industry. Lately, it's been spread that his August album's first single "Yi Gong Chi" (1cm) MV, his perfectionist side is out again. He believes that Direct Ling Jing He did not film it well and wants to pay NT$1 million to find another direct to refilm it. Sony's manage Liu Tian Jian said: "It's not that it was not filmed well, just that it's not bold enough, I was the one that wanted the refilm."
At the moment Ling Jing He has bought a large group of people to work on Jerry's single's MV. After it was edited, Jerry went to see it's effect and said to the others: "That's not the feel I want, can we refilm? I want to find Ma Yi to film." Others agree with what he said but due to budget, they might not have the funds. He immediately said: "I will pay $1 million to film."
The workers were dumbstruck and are now trying ways to resolve the problem. This has spread to other Music companies as well.
Reporters wanted to clarify this with Lin Jing He, he said: "I don't know, I have no idea." However, Manager Zhi explained: "Jerry has thought about this, but Sony has the rights, he's just making suggestions. There's no confirmation. It's better to ask Sony."
Sony's Liu Tian Jian yesterday claimed: "Director did well on the MV, it's just that it's not bold enough. Jerry's inner feeling shows were good. I don't know whether it's the director's final cut but some scenes were edited out. I wanted the refilm."
In regards to Jerry's MV, Liu said: "Jerry's album is Sony's Summer's most important one. His budget is very good, there's no need for him to pay. His perfectionist view will produce a good product."
