Jerry Yan faced cameras and collison.
On August 15th 2004, Jerry Yan held a stamping session due to his new album release in Tai Pei Xi Men Ding. Because there was simply too many people, the stage almost fell off. Other then that, this super star met with "almost" collison at night[15/08/04]. His manager says that Hong Kong reporters saw that it was red light at a traffic junction and took this chance to pull off Jerry Yan's car door to take photos. After that, their car almost collide with each other. The manager says, "This kind of reporters are too much!"
One of Jerry's fans said that, around 9.30pm on 15/08/04, Jerry and two of his colleague took a cab. On Ren Ai Lu, Xin Shen Nan Lu Junction, the traffic light turned red. Out of a sudden, two reporters speaking cantonese pulled the door of Jerry's cab and snapped pictures immediately. After another junction, the reporter's car almost collide with Jerry's. The reporters again went out of their car to snap pictures. A reporter was said to be hurt. Not long after, police nearby was sent to settle the matter.
Jerry's manager said, at that time, they was about to send Jerry home after the stamping session. In the middle of the journey, they realised that behind them, reporters were chasing them and taking pictures. But they didn't expect the reporters to open the door of the cab at the red light junction. This incident scared Jerry and the co-workers. Co-workers quickly pushed the reporters away and closed the door of the cab. But they didn't expect the reporters to chase the cab again. The cab driver got out of the car and almost argued with the reporter's driver. Jerry's manager reached the destination and took Jerry away, leaving the co-workers to go to the police station to make a statement. The manager said "I can't believe those reporters even opened the door of the cab and took pictures. This is too much because it is dangerous!" The co-workers of Jerry, the reporters and the two drivers went to the police station. It was known there that both cars are without damage. The reporter did not mentioned that he was hurt too. Thus they went out of the police station without leaving any particulars.
A co-worker that is in charged of Jerry, Tao Yi Jun said, "At that time, Jerry's cab door was opened by the reporters. Reporters asked them if they could take photos but without waiting for an answer, they snapped pictures of him. Everyone was shocked. After that the reporters even continue to chase them and their cars almost collide with one another. But they shouldn't asked Jerry to get out of the car to settle the matter! They even said that one of the reporters were hurt. The reporters even called for the police. Jerry wasn't the driver! Why must he settle the matter? It's too ridiculous!"
Yesterday, through the help of the co-workers, Jerry said that the incident was shocking. He found the incident unbelievable but the event of his album did not has any effect. The manager of Jerry would like to know very much that, which of the reporters were there on the day of the incident.
