Yesterday, Jerry held his Shanghai Press Conference for his album of 3 years - Di Yi Ci. Jerry's Family Fans gathered at the venue to cheer for their idols.
Jerry album contains 10 songs, with 10 typies of feelings. There are 2 versions to the album - Day and Night. Day represents the sunny, healthy and open Jerry, whilst the Night version is the mysterious, long and hidden side of Jerry. @ Jerry's album release in China has given Jay a scare. Album sales in Taiwan have increased rapidly, reaching 80 000. The media are describing the competition as war. When reporters ask this, the host immediately replies: "This question has been reported numerous times, I'm sure Jerry does not wish to be compared to Jay. " Jerry on the other hand, did not mind and helped to answer: "I'm new, I don't mind competition." Reporters applauded loudly at his response.
To celebrate, Sony's CEO came and gave Jerry a F1 car model. He hopes that Jerry, a former F4, will become F1 and develop into a quality artist. Jerry was very shy upon receipt of present, didn't know what to respond. When they asked him which F1 driver he liked, he says: "I don't watch much Formula 1, I like motorbikes." Jerry was presented with a 3 layer cake and toped with a chocolate CD of Jerry. Jerry held "himself" and bit into "himself" and even invited the host to have a bite, but the host said: "That's Jerry Yan! I don't dare eat!."
