NEWS CLIP 1: TV PATROL, ABS-CBN (Nov. 5, 2004)
(TV Patrol is an early evening news program.)
Intro by news reader:
Jerry Yan in his return to the Philippines. He sang, danced and even had a Q&A with his fans. You can see all of these scenes in Star Patrol by Nina Corpuz.
(Nina Corpuz voice-over as scenes of Jerry's airport arrival are shown. Jerry is wearing white Bench Idol shirt and shades, looking serious. A lot of photographers, reporters are surrounding him.)
Nina Corpuz: Jerry didn't disappoint his fans upon his return to the country. He arrived at the airport past 12 noon today.
Interview of female airport employee with mini-DV (looking very excited): I was able to hold his hands! He is very handsome!
(Clips of Bench event in background.)
Nina Corpuz: His fans waited for Jerry at the NBC Tent even if it was raining. The "Bench & Jerry" event started with a fashion show. In just a few moments, Jerry Yan will be coming out so his fans here at the NBC Tent are now super-excited.
(Clip of fans screaming as the emcee introduces: Jerry Yan!)
Nina Corpuz: Everyone screamed when Jerry appeared onstage singing, "One Meter". He immediately followed this with another hit song, "Gravity". In the Q&A, Jerry was asked what his favorite clothing was and he answered:
Jerry (nodding, and with a naughty big smile): Underwear
Nina Corpuz: He was going to call the birthday celebrant in the audience on stage but
(Translator's note: shows clip of all fans raising their hands when they were asked who was celebrating her birthday suddenly everyone was claiming it was their birthday too! Ha-ha.)
Nina Corpuz: Afterwards, Jerry signed the CDs of more than 100 fans.
Interview with a "senior" fan: He's like my son. I've lost two sons already so I like him.
Nina Corpuz: Some fans cried when he left. Others ran after his car. Jerry will only spend one night in the Philippines, and tomorrow, he returns to Taiwan.
(Translator's note: This was wrong, Jerry was leaving for Hong Kong the next day, en route to Shanghai.)

NEWS CLIP 2: TV PATROL SABADO, ABS-CBN (Nov 6, 2004)
Intro by news reader: Taiwan star Jerry Yan left Manila for Hong Kong after a short visit to the Philippines. See this in the Star Patrol Report by Marie Lozano.
(Clip of cars arriving at the Terminal 1 of the International Airport.)
Marie Lozano: Until he left, security was very tight for Jerry. A convoy of cars followed him on his way to the airport. When he got there, bodyguards surrounded him immediately, but we were quite lucky to get close to him. Jerry seemed to be in a good mood when he woke up, because he even played cute in front of the camera.
(Clip of very shuai looking Jerry in black sweater, flashing a peace sign & small smile to the camera, just before entering the x-ray scanner at the airport.)
Marie Lozano: His Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong left promptly at 7am.
(Clip of Jerry at the Bench event signing CDs, as a fan tells him, "I love you!")
Marie Lozano: Jerry's stay in the Philippines didn't even last 24 hours because he arrived in the country past 12 noon yesterday. He spent an hour with his fans during a mini-concert at the Fort. But even if the trip was just short, and they wanted so much more, it seemed that the trip was well worth it for all of his solid fans who were there.
(Clips of Jerry singing "Gravity", fans screaming, Jerry smiling as red confetti was raining on him.)

Voice over: We followed Papa Jerry in his fashion musical event. The venue was jampacked with fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of the "Meteor Garden" star. It was a big hit when he sang songs from his latest album.
(Very, very cute clip of Jerry singing "Gravity". Really huge smile, so shuai!!!)
Voice over: The Q&A with the fans was also a winner. What would his answer be to the question:
Event host (Ces Drilon): What is your favorite Bench item?
Jerry: Underwear.
Voice over: One whole day with Papa Jerry. That is what dreams are made of!
(Translator's note: The term "Papa" is a slang used to refer to someone that is your boyfriend, or you want to be your boyfriend.)

INTERVIEW CLIP 1: ASAP FANATIC, ABS-CBN (November 7, 2004)
(ASAP Fanatic is a Sunday noontime variety show in the Philippines.)
INTERVIEW WITH IYA VILLANIA, MYX VJ. TRANSLATOR IS SHIRLEY BARRIDO. (Iya is seated across Jerry and Shirley, who are seated beside each other on the sofa. Jerry is still wearing the "Merry Jerry" Bench tee.)
IYA: The song "Gravity" has been the number one song on the Myx Hit Chart for five weeks now. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
JERRY: Thank you.
IYA: So how does it feel to be back here in the Philippines?
JERRY: I'm thankful that the people still haven't forgotten me.
IYA: Of course not, never. We will always remember you.
IYA: It took you four years to finish your album. Why four years?
JERRY: Primary reason is to make sure that the singing quality is quite good.
IYA: There are two versions of the album, "Day" and "Night". What's the difference between the two?
JERRY: Actually, the main reason is to show two different sides of me to the people. One version shows my light, childish side. The other version is more dramatic.
IYA: Is it true that you wrote one of the songs in the album? What inspired you to write this song?
JERRY: It's just based on my feelings. I also get to recall my stories, my love stories.
IYA (teasingly): Oooh, love stories.
IYA: In the song "Memory Pieces", you did the rap part yourself. Have you been rapping long?
