Both Ken fans and Sony Music have gone through a lot of incidence lately this week. I believe all of you have read about todays news. Yet, Im glad that this issue has temporarily come to an end. Id like to take this chance to share with all of you on my personal insights during this week.
From the moment I heard about the album launch deferral, honestly, I felt shock, angry and worry. I was too surprise to learn that the album would be postponed again. My anger was not because of the delay. After all, sudden changes happen so often in this entertainment world. What fired me was their way in communicating such news to fans right at this time, taking such an inappropriate manner. I worried about those coming overseas. How should they handle the booked flights, travel visas, accommodations, etc.?
Since that day the good news was announced by KCIFC, day-by-day, I noticed Ken fans around the world were excited with hope. They are getting everything ready. For those who can come over to Taiwan to support, all are busy at booking flights and accommodations. The other who cant make the trip also revealed their joy and enthusiasm on this new album. For the committees, all have given themselves in, hard and tiring. Nevertheless, we all take this as the sweetest burden to haul. It is because our dream will soon come true. The success is under count down! Vise versa, this news smashed our hope just like an icy splash. When I was typing up the announcement, my heart was full of bitterness above anger and depress. I can almost foresee the response from every Ken fans reading this news. It was too hard to realize that all plans will have to be canceled !!
Wise and low profile are the impression of Ken fans. However, this time, we will let everyone change his or her perception on us.
In deed, this issue has been overwhelmed in such a short period of one day. It is really out of my expectation but I am so happy for it. Last night, Sony has also sincerely expressed their apology to this incident and would like me to pass this message to all Ken fans. Hence, I posted another announcement last night and am looking forward to wrapping this case up.
Among todays news, an article is deviated from the fact. Yet, it is not worth to argue or emphasis on this matter. All I would like to assure was, since the very beginning, the announced album release date came straightly from Sony. All our plans and announcements were to cope with Sonys date.
Actually, I thoroughly understand all of your feelings, especially all those overseas Ken fans who planned to come to Taiwan. Im so sorry for such unpleasant experience. Despites, I hope all of us can stay put and calmly wait for Sonys final decision after the meeting next week.
In fact, various factors would lead to the deferral on the album release. Given this incident, it really annoyed Ken and his agency Fu Long. Im deeply sorry for the whole issue.
I believe, after all these days learning and training, Ken definitely will give us the most perfect piece of art. Ken, thanks a lot for your effort! Keep it up and so do we!!
