snow patrol, u2, blur, radiohead, etc. had been around for a long time
true, md draws alot from radiohead, but who doesn't? and i think snow patrol & graham coxon are NOTHING NEW .. they are just part of a big movement, so it is not strange to see that md sounds similar to them.
about cafe, i think it bares no resemblance to U2 at all. i think it's md's best album.
if MD is a copycats, then all the bands following this modern rock/indie/brit pop/alternative whatever route are all copycats.
at least they namecheck good artists.
