Daniel Lee to helm 'Dragon Squad'

2004.12.27 - Daniel Lee, director of such Hong Kong action films as What Price Survival, Black Mask and most recently Star Runner, has teamed up with producer Catherine Hun to film a new chop socky actioner tentatively entitled Dragon Squad.
The film, from newly formed Visualizer Films, brings together a high-impact cast including martial arts movie veteran Sammo Hung, New Police Story star Andy On, Tomb Raider 2 actor Simon Yam, and Taiwanese superstar Vanness Wu (Star Runner).
Dragon Squad sees a ruthless international terrorist loose on the streets of Hong Kong with an intrepid young Interpol team, led by Sammo, intent on tracking
The Medallion scribe and Twins Effect filmmaker Bey Logan is onboard as producer and the film is being made in conjunction with Hong Kong-based multimedia corporation Mei Ah and World Media, a Bangkok-based company run by producer Jimmy Moy and Hollywood action hero Steven Seagal.
Dragon Squad starts shooting in Hong Kong in Spring 2005. Overseas sales are being handled by Arclight Films.
