Tang Zhi Ping, Ken Chu, Suspected to be Brothers
Ken Chu and Tang Zhi Ping might be brothers of the same father but a different mom ? Tang Zhi Ping said he have heard of such rumour before while Ken denied it with big laughs.
Reporter went to Thailand for a holiday. Just a day before he left, he was introduced by his friend to a local Chinese resturant, Ju Xiang Lou for dinner. The Boss of Ju Xiang Lou is known as Tang Lao, a chinese national who moved to Thailand long time ago. He is also Taiwanese celebrity, Tang Zhi Ping's dad. This friend continued to reveal, that there was a rumour locally that other than Tang Zhi Ping who is a celebrity, he has another son who is also a celebrity. However, it was the son of another mom. This low profiled son isn't just anyone else, but Ken Chu of F4 who is popular throughout Asia.
As this rumour of Ken Chu and Tang Zhi Ping having the same dad but a different mom was a huge thing, reporters yesterday asked Tang Zhi Ping about it. He said through the phone, "I only know my dad has me, a single child from young, i really don't know if Ken Chu is my brother." However, Tang Zhi Ping said that even when he returns to Thailand to visit his father, he heard this rumour from his relatives as well. Those relatives who weren't close to him and couldn't speak chinese well kept asking him, "Are you the one from F4 ?"
Because of his relatives' sayings, Tang Zhi Ping himself suspects if he really have a brother. He even couldn't help it and confronted his dad. However, Tang Zhi Ping's dad told him it's all a misunderstanding. He asked his mom as well but his mom has no idea whether the rumour is real or fake. Tang Zhi Ping said, He knows his dad is a playboy during his younger years as he was very good looking. He has girlfriends in both Singapore and Hong Kong. His mom was the only one but can only be known as his Taiwanese woman. His parents still has the marriage contacts but have been living separately for many years. The last time he went back to Thailand, his mom went with him.
Tang Zhi Ping said he have not met Ken Chu before and don't feel any similarity in their appearences. Also, only his picture is hung up in his dad's resturant and no Ken's picture at all. Thus, when his dad denied it, he don't suspect anymore. However, there was once when he saw a piece of news saying that Ken went to Thailand to visit a elder, it gave him question marks again. Tang Zhi Ping said, if the reporter hadn't asked, he really don't wish to bring up this rumour, " That's because i don't want others to think i'm using F4 to start news."
Although they themselves denys about the Brothers rumour, looking at their backgrounds, it seems that the rumours didn't start from nowhere. Other than their similarity of having big eyes and handsome appearence, their heights were similar to Tang Lao, all 180cm handsome hunks. Conincidently, their life backgrounds were matched. Ken Chu ever said, since young, he follows his mom around Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. He even stayed alone in Singapore for ten years when he didn't know the country well and only returned to Taiwan when he was 17 years old. Tang Zhi Ping is born in Thailand and went to HK when he was 3 years old. After which, he stayed in Guangzhou for a year or two and returned to Taiwan with his mom during his primary school years and stayed there till now. The most coincident thing was, these 2 handsome hunks both had depression before.
When Ken Chu heard the rumour yesterday, he first laugh loudly, than said he don't mind being asked because it's only a rumour. He said, "Does Tang Zhi Ping have any show to promo ? Or i have shows coming up, but i have no idea about it ? Haha !" In regards to this rumour which probably came out because of dramas, Ken Chu asked how ever did this came out ?
"This is too funny, it's too over, it's impossible!" Talking about it, he mentions that his family has another secret. Other than having a sister, he also have a brother who is of the same dad but different mom. " He is only 13 or 14 years old !" Ken emphasised, he don't have any relatives in Thailand. When he went to Thailand with Gigi Leung for dubbing for Sky of Love, the elder which he visited was his god-father.
Ken Chu's manager, Zhi Xiang Li also added, " I went as well, saw it too, his god-father is very old and i saw his kids as well, it's not Tang Zhi Ping!". This person who is close to Ken Chu yesterday revealed without his name, he ever heard Ken saying his dad was a business man during his younger years and knows everyone but suddenly, he dissapeared one day. " His father probably dissappeared because he didn't want to be a burden to the family and his mom quickly sent him to Singapore. The whole family was separated, but they didn't have a choice.
