Popstar Mariah Carey will be honored with the BAMBI in the category "Pop International" on December 1, 2005 in Munich, Germany. With more than 140 million sold CDs and 16 number-one hits worldwide, she is the most successful Pop and R&B artist of all time and one of the most opalescent figures of the international music world.
One of Germany's most prestigious awards, the BAMBI fetes outstanding personalities in diverse fields, covering everything from sports and music to politics and economy. The awards ceremony will take place on December 1st in Munich, Germany and will be broadcast live on the German TV channel ARD.
