Congratulations to Mariah for winning all of the four awards she was nominated for at the 3rd Annual VIBE Awards, an urban music and fashion-themed ceremony, held at Sony Pictures Studios in California Saturday, Nov. 12th.
Mariah led the field by sweeping all four of her nominations!
Artist of the Year
Album of the Year - "The Emancipation of Mimi"
Best R&B Song - "We Belong Together"
R&B Voice of the Year
"If you pray and you ask, you will receive," said Carey, whose album is the biggest seller of 2005 and marks a comeback a few years after she was dumped by her former label.
The awards ceremony will be aired Tuesday, Nov. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN.
