AKANISHI JIN
While I was young, I received presents every year from my parents, or, Santa, I mean (laugh). It's only a vague memory, but I have a feeling they were even nicely left in Christmas stockings. Plus, family would come over and we would have parties, so I always very happy because to get presents from them, too. We did this until around my first year of junior high. I was in America for Christmas in 2006, so I took part in a party during my homestay. I think it was a costume party...?! Wait, no! That was Halloween (laugh). At Christmas, the presents were all placed under a tree, and we opened them in the morning. There was one for each member of the family, perfectly. I received a parka and some clothing, but it was my first time having this kind of Christmas, so it was a really fresh experience.
If I had a girlfriend, it would depend on the situation at the time, but I'd be open to spending Christmas together or having a party with lots of friends. We could buy a cake and exchange presents, etc. But, of course I would prepare a separate present for my girlfriend, too. So, I kind of want to ask from the opposite side-- what kinds of gifts do girls want for Christmas?! Would it be accessories, after all? I would definitely want to get presents for each important "event," but there's birthdays, White Day, Christmas... there are so many that it's easy to run out of ideas (laugh). Personally, I like matching things or paired items -- if someone gave me something like that, I think I'd wear it a lot-- but how do girls feel about things like that?! ...but, although I've talked about all of these things, I'm going to be on a 24 hour live radio program on Christmas this year, so I don't have any personal events planned at all (laugh).
Although I don't constantly think about wanting to be in a relationship, I think I am happier when I have a girlfriend. In anything I do, it sustains me. Obviously, it makes my personal life more fun, and no matter how busy or difficult work is, thinking that I'll be able to see her after I'm done makes me work even harder. In relationships, I'm the type who would want to see my girlfriend seven days a week. But, like I said at the beginning, it's not as if I always have to have someone. There was a time in the past where even when I didn't have a girlfriend, I would try to force myself to find someone, but I don't really think like that anymore. If I don't, then I don't, and I can just use that time for myself. Often, people ask "Are love and marriage different things?" I think being in a relationship is about deciding whether or not you can marry that person. Because of that, I don't enter into relationships very easily.
I've had my heart broken just as many times as any other person. I think that, after all, time heals everything. There was even a time I've cried over it in the past. But that wasn't because of breaking up so much as other things that happened in the midst of the relationship. What happened?! No comment (laugh). Love is really hard, huh? I'm the type that has a hard time becoming friends with people I used to go out with. Well, it depends on the person, too... if that were to happen, though, it would probably take a lot of time. *********************************************** ภาพประกอบต้นฉบับ
