CUTE or SEXY This charming killer has it all
I first saw him in My Tutor Friend where he played the role of a problematic high school student who strived to be a bully but did not succeed though. Gong Yoo made people wonder how such a cute big boy can exist! He proved to be one in Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy. Expressing his love fervently for the very first time in his life, puppy-liked smiley face and the agonizing expressions for the pain he had went through for his love. Many female viewers were defeated by his tears.
Among his projects, S Diary is the one which completely showed the cool side of him. In that movie, Gong Yoo played the role of a lively, rash but passionate young boyfriend. In the movie Shes on duty, which he acted as a handsome and mysterious high school student, made the audience in approving the fantasy of the swift progress of his relationship with Kim Seoh-Ah in the show.
Many people find it hard to grasp the amazing Gong Yoo because he seems to be so near and yet so far. This become part of his incomparable charm. Sometimes, he shows his cute smiles and sometimes, the sexy side of him. And just as we thought he had brought out the cute characteristics of a big boy successfully, he surprised us with his charming, mature and hunky side as well. He is such a cool and warm person. And that makes him an irreplaceable top killer celebrity!
Frank and honest in showing his true self to this fans without any reservation
How to describe him? Cute? Sexy? Sensitive? Daring.....? Every phrase seems applicable. But if this is true, is his image a bogus? No, thats not right. There is no trace of lies on Gong Yoo. He is devoted to the role he was given. It is not difficult to see his true-self by observing him closely. He has been very considerate and thoughtful at work. He is always well prepared for interviews on the answers that the reporters wanted. He is sincere and the sessions have always been pleasant. There were also times where he displayed the charming side of him.
On the day of enlistment, in appreciation of the fans who were there to bid him farewell, Gong Yoo did Korean bows to them. That moment truly showed his sincerity. Gong Yoo also did the Korean bow at the end of his first fans meeting in Japan. Looks like when he is deeply touched, he will do this gesture.
I was extremely happy the other time. Frankly speaking, I am not so excited on the second fan meeting as compared to the first. He is such an honest man.
When he was asked what he and the role of Tae-In in BTSC have in common, he said Deep down in our hearts, we are filled with loneliness and sadness. Although in the eyes of everyone, I am always laughing, I have lonely moments too.
When I was about to escape from the camera, Coffee Prince Shop No. 1 came by. Thanks to this drama, I regained my passion in acting, this was what he said before. His fear and worries were hidden behind his smiles. The way he expressed that being an actor is a lonely job, shows that he is a sensitive and serious man.
Next, lets move on to his photo book. Although the photos of him posing as a cute big boy and the cover page of a rebellious hunk were taken consecutively in the same shooting location, the two photos show a big contrast. That is his style. A mixture of different feelings and charms. This is Gong Yoo.
The photographs were taken based on the theme of Im, I Like and Yoo wants to be. And every photograph in the photo book was chosen by Gong Yoo. His expressions and feelings were shown on the photographs without any reservations to illustrate the true side of him at the end of his 20s. Which Gong Yoo do you like?
