Supernatural star Jared Padalecki flexes his muscles on the set of his upcoming horror flick Friday the 13th.
The 26-year-old actor signed on as the lead male who investigates what happened at Crystal Lake, with Amanda Righetti taking the female lead. Derek Mears stars as Jason Voorhees.
The film was directed by Marcus Nispel, who helmed 2005s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Friday the 13th opens on Friday, February 13.
