สวัสดีค่ะสาวๆ บ้านแบ๊ว มีข่าวจุนมาฝากค่ะ
Lee Junki releases a Thai photobook September 28th, 2009 // by javabeans
Lee Junki, who enjoys strong popularity throughout Asia, is launching Sawasdee Khrab, his Thai photobook whose title is taken from the Thai phrase for hello. He revealed the book in Bangkok on September 27 and held a press conference before a hundred reporters from various Asian media outlets. Lee also received a special plaque from the Tourism Authority of Thailand in appreciation for his service in boosting Thailands image as honorary spokesperson.
Lee Junkis photobook was produced with the backing of the Korean-Thai Chamber of Commerce (KTCC) to commemorate their fifty-year anniversary. The collection comprises a book and DVD that is based on the concept of Lee taking a solo journey to Thailand to get away from his busy career.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, it is unusual for the Tourism Authority to award an official plaque of appreciation to a foreign actor. Lees projects have enjoyed success in Thailand (such as My Girl), and with his 2007 drama Time of Dog and Wolf, which was filmed in Thailand, he became the first Hallyu star to launch an official fan club in that country. He was even invited to a birthday event for the Thai king in 2007.
Lees photobook Sawasdee Khrab will be revealed not only in Thailand but also in Korea, Japan, and China.
Next up, he will star in the new MBC drama Hero, playing a small-time reporter and co-starring with Kim Min-jung, Eom Ki-joon, and Ji Chang-wook. The drama is currently filming.
