So Ji Sub Establishes His Own Management Company

Ooooooh!
Actor So Ji Sub has rejected huge offerings of money to join other management companies (a reported 1 billion won!), and has established his own management company for himself. He's named it 51K after his favourite number (he's always stated that he likes 51 because it's over 50, but hasn't yet reached 100), and after Korea. Working with him are some ex-employees of the last management company he was a part of, BOF. (Hmm, does that mean that that friend of his who got married to that actress followed him to this new company?)
Ever since his contract with BOF ended in April, he's been handling all of his business affairs himself, taking calls and exchanging e-mails with offers. He chose to establish his own company out of a desire to take care of all the decisions for his acting and entertainment affairs personally.
So Ji Sub has recently finished filming for a mini cell phone drama in Japan, and is currently looking for his next work.
Congrats to him! :D This is a huge step for him, and can only bode well in future for his career, I think. If BOF stifled him and his talents, then I don't think he'll have that problem anymore with his own company. Hurrah!
