Actor Lee Jun Ki said that he is a 'Loser'.
On November 16th at 1:30PM, during the MBC new drama 'Hero' press conference held at Seoul KangNam Dance Hall, Lee Jun Ki mentioned that, "My height is only 178cm, which is bad. I felt that I am a Loser."
Lee Jun Ki said that, "I feel a bit inferior because of my height. There are lots of male actors whose height are above 180cm, and I feel bad about this. Although I was never really hurt by this fact, but I still feel a bit down. But I have always thought of making this up with other ways, and hence I will always work harder."
When the reporters ask about his thoughts casting as a character who started as a loser and finally becoming a hero, Lee Jun Ki answered that, "This is a story about a person who lives a 3rd grade life confronting the better off community. My inferiority about my height does help a lot in creating this character. I am not the best looking and not the most charismatic type too. My average looks will get me even closer to the viewers".
MBC new drama 'Hero' cast by Lee Jun Ki, Yun So Yi, Paek Yoon Shik, Eom Gi Jun and so on is a heroic saga of a passionate youth. Premier on November 18th.
