Many People Care Bai Xue's Cub
July 22, 2006, the first panda baby over the world in 2006 was born, many people became quit concerned over the birth of it. Ms. Perret Rita from Switzerland shared adopted the first baby, and named it Ming Mei . On 27th, Mr. Tan Dali shared adopted the first baby over the world this year, which was born by Bai Xue.

Introduction of the Panda Cubs Born in 2008 in CCRCGP--Bai Xue's 1st Cub
Bai Xue delivered her first cub at 11:30pm of July 26th, 2008. It is female and the birth weight is 104.5g. Its mother Bai Xue is legendary and now is 18 years old. The cub is very beautiful. The slightly up bridge of nose is a little black, which just goes well with its two long black rims of eyes. Two hairy ears erect on its round face. It was born to be active and lively, liking to play with its younger brother. Under the intensive care of its mother and the keepers, at present, it is 124kg and has not been adopted for lifetime or privately.

Introduction of the Panda Cubs Born in 2008 in CCRCGP--Bai Xue's 2nd Cub
Bai Xue gave birth to her second cub at 0:19am of July 27th, 2008. It is male and the birth weight is 83.2g, the lighted among the 13 cubs. Its mother Bai Xue is legendary and now is 18 years old. The cub has a pointed chin. Its ears are short. It has a lively and active disposition, never behaving himself. It likes playing with his elder sister, and has a close relationship with keepers, often trying to climb up along their bodies or sleeping against their legs. Even though it was the light when delivered, it catches up with its sister under the intensive care of its mother and the keepers. Now it also weighs 12.4kg, but has not been adopted for lifetime or privately.

At 8:50 am of July 22, 2006, Bai Xue that had little parturition indication gave us the first panda baby of this year over the world. Because the gestational period of giant panda is usually 4--6 months, Bai Xue experienced 100-day gestational period, from April 12, to July 22, 2006. Bai Xue started to contract and broke amniotic fluid at 8:15 am. At 8:50 am, she gave birth to the new baby. Taking account of that Bai Xue is eld mother, the milk maybe will be not enough, and the researchers took the baby out and feeding with 2g foremilk. The baby is male, 160 g, healthy. Now he is under the keeping of the researchers in the centre. At the same time, the centre enhanced the conditioning for Bai Xue.
In 2001, Bai Xue fled out the centre to wildfield; on November 19, 2005, she got into the area of the staff's dormitories at 22:50 pm, and was saved by the researchers. After through the good conditioning of workers, Bai Xue's weight reached around 90 kg from 60 kg. At the beginning of the April, Bai Xue successfully rutted and took artificial insemination on April 12. The semen is from panda Shi Shi, which were fed in the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Centre. Bai Xue came from the wild field of Fopin in Shanxi, just joined the centre in the last year with a weak body. Giant Panda Bai Xue, female, No. 418 in pedigree, born in the wild field of Shanxi around 1990, in 1995, was sent to China Giant Panda Protection and Research Centre by Shanxi Lou Guantai Rare Animals Saving Centre. On May 30, 2001, she fled out of the center and live in the wield field for about 4 or 5 years, and was caught on November 11,2005. Bai Xue is aged 16, equally to the age of 50 of human being.
