After School Sees Jung Yong-hwa as an Ideal Guy
On 10.04.01 SBS Power FM - Kim Hee-chul's Young Street radio show, After School members had to pick between Jang Geun-suk and Jung Yong-hwa during their Ideal Guy World Cup (LOL, the usage of "world cup" in context of 'ideal person' always makes me laugh). Except for Bekah, everyone picked Jung Yong-hwa. When Hee-chul asked a sample -- Raina and Jung-ah -- why they chose Jung Yong-hwa, they both cited his personality as seen in We Got Married as the key reason. (Presumably, that's also why the rest of the After School members chose Jung Yong-hwa over Jang Geun-suk.)
I think Hee-chul then asked the listeners who they think After School will pick as their ideal guy out of the finalists via text messaging. A majority stated Jung Yong-hwa. But when it came to voting in the final round, Hee-chul didn't hold a vote for Yong-hwa after the same audio excerpt from You're Beautiful had been played before. I'm not sure why; maybe because Hee-chul thought Yong-hwa would hold a monopoly?
This may or may not be a separate incident, but someone on WGM DC gall mentioned that recently (this was posted on April 7th), three After School members named Jung Yong-hwa as their ideal guy (but didn't mention where). I'm more inclined to think it couldn't have been on Kim Hee-chul's radio show, because more than three women voted for Yong-hwa over Jang Geun-suk in the Ideal Guy World Cup and Hee-chul didn't even hold a vote for Yong-hwa in the final round despite being a finalist. So maybe the question of ideal guys (rather than a "world cup") was brought up on 10.04.05 SBS Power FM - Sweet Sorrow's Ten Ten Club? I haven't checked, though, because I can't find any audio recording or full video of it online.

On 10.04.05 SBS Power FM - Sweet Sorrow's Ten Ten Club, three After School members (Nana, Raina, Lizzy) named Yong Hwa as their ideal man. Nana said that Yong Hwa sings well, has a strong sense of humor and also he is good-looking. They said Yong Hwa is really charming.
