C.N. Blues Jung Yong-hwa revealed his sentiments regarding his fake wife, Girls Generation Seo-hyun, and music.
Five months after their debut, C.N. Blue (members Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jung-shin, Lee Jong-hyun, and Kang Min-hyuk) bringing with them their second album, Blue Love, and its sale close at hand had their first interview during their photo shoot for the June issue of lifestyle magazine, Singles.
For this photo shoot, C.N. Blue threw off their green (1) image and transformed into bad boys with their smoky makeup and haughty gazes. Also, curiosity regarding their meteoric rise in the music community was settled in the interview.
First, C.N. Blues magnae Lee Jung-shin commented on the mood of the upcoming album, saying, Like the first album, it still has rock and the basss funky feeling, theres also a refreshing song that fits summer and [the album] as a whole is a lot more bright and cheerful. Jung Yong-hwa explained their attachment to the album: These are songs are simple and easy to sing along with because theyre rhythmical. But more than anything, theyre more precious because we participated in the composing the music and lyrics. (2)
On the secret of becoming stars immediately before anyone could take another breath after the release of their first album with Im a Loner in January, Jung Yong-hwa said, Even now, we do not think that we are successful and that Our first start felt very good, but our ultimate goal is to see to it that band culture will secure its place and receive a lot of love.
It is impossible to not be curious about the daily lives and the ideal types of these prominent boys, whose pretty looks and honest dispositions became the fantasies of female fans and noonas. What do they usually do with their free time? Kang Min-hyuk answered, Although the members do not have cell phones, we live our lives without discomfort, and maybe for that reason (3), were able to have fun amongst ourselves. We dont go out and play; its more enjoyable to watch DVDs of artists or movies or the like. Following that, Jung Yong-hwa said, Due to Seo-hyun buin (4)s great influence, I find myself reading books a lot recently.
To the question that wondered if they were bored just hanging out amongst the four of them, Jong-hyun responded, talking warmly about their friendship, I actually think thats good, because the more were together, the stronger our teamwork.
In regards to the question about their respective ideal types, Jung Yong-hwa laughed as he said (5), Because Im currently a married man, its difficult to answer, never forgetting to be considerate of his fake wife, Girls Generations Seo-hyun, with whom he is filming in TV program We Got Married. Kang Min-hyuk chose actress Park Jin hee, saying, I like someone whom I can depend on like a noona. Lee Jung-shin gave his answer: The kind of noona who is laidback and with whom being in a relationship is comfortable.
Now the barely over twenty year old members, who were beginning to discover their dreams, were asked about their goals. Jung Yong-hwa answered, To be innovative without missing a single moment. To secure the place of band culture. Also, if there is a person I love, Id like to be able marry at any time. Lee Jong-hyun: Since it all comes down to life being short, I would like to live a cool, admirable life. Kang Min-hyuk said, To perform music without greediness and with a simple heart. And Id like to be a good dad. The last person to answer was Lee Jung-shin, who had the sense to combine all of the aforementioned answers: Id like to enjoy performing music, fulfilling dreams, and making a family.
