เดี๋ยวต้องมีคนเขามาตอบประมาณว่า"ไม่รู้จักสักคน,เกิดไม่ทัน" อะไรทำนองนี้แน่ๆเลย คอยดู 
(แต่คนสุดท้ายนี่น่าจะรู้จักกันทุกคนนะ ส่วนเรื่องเกิดไม่ทันนั้น ไม่ต้องห่วง...เพราะผมเองก็เกิดไม่ทันเหมือนกัน! (ยังหนุ่มอยู่น่า ))
จริงๆแล้วยังมีผู้กำกับระดับตำนานอีกหลายคนครับที่ผมไม่ได้ใส่ไว้ในนี้ เช่น Fritz Lang, John Huston, John Ford, Michael Curtiz, Elia Kazan, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, William Wyler เป็นต้น
เพราะผมพยายามเลือกผู้กำกับที่มีงานที่เป็นที่รู้จักของหลายๆคนในนี้เอาไว้เป็นหลักก่อนครับ ยังไงก็ขอกล่าวถึงผกก.ท่านอื่นๆที่ว่ามาเมื่อกี้นี้เพื่อเป็นการสดุดีด้วยก็แล้วกัน
สำหรับผมนะครับ ถ้านับเอาแบบฝีมือล้วนๆแมนเลยละก็ ผมยกให้ Orson Welles ครับ นับถือในวิศัยทัศน์ของแกจริงๆ(และก็สงสารนิดๆด้วย)
แต่ถ้าเอาในแง่ของความเป็นปรมาจารย์ มาสเตอร์ละก็ ยกให้ปู่ Hitchcock แกเลย สุดยอด
แต่ถ้าในแง่ของความชอบส่วนตัวละก็ ก็ Sergio Leone ครับ คือผมชอบงานหนังความบอยของแกน่ะ โดยเฉพาะ The Dollars Trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) ที่เป็นงานแสดงยุคบุกเบิกของปู่ Clint Eastwood
