Below is a fan account when she went to Manolin. Due to lack of time, I will not translate word for word but here and there. I wonder who that young man was??!!!
안녕하세요. 가끔 눈팅을 하는데 이렇게 글을 쓰네요. 저는 꽃남을보고 구혜선씨를 좋아하게 된 아줌마 팬입니다.
I am an ajuma (older and married woman) fan of GHS after seeing her in BOF.
화요일날 친구가 호주로 이민을 가게되어 추억을 남기기 위해 서래마을에 갔습니다.
마놀린에 도착한 시간이 12시10분 우리는 1층갤러리에 곧바로 들어가 혜선씨 그림들을 감상했습니다.
I went with a friend to Manolin on Tuesday at 12:10 and went immediately to her gallery to see her work.
그림을 볼때마다 그녀는 굉장히 다재다능하구나. 웃고 있는 모습은 긍정적이고 밝은데 그림은 왠지 슬픔도 느껴지는듯
Whenever I see her paintings/illustrations, I am amazed at her multi-talents. Her smiling face says to me she is positive and optimistic, yet her drawings also give me feelings of sadness as well....I don't know why.
아무도 없어서 친구와 마음껏 보다 혜선양 작업실에 불이켜 있어 살짝 봤는데 작지만 참 아기자기한 느낌이었습니다.
앞에 탁자에 검은베낭과 만원짜리 돈이 그냥있었는데 왠지 털털한 혜선양 돈같았어요(저는 누가 몰래 훔치지 않을까 걱정도)
While viewing her art work, I saw that her studio was open and lighted. I saw that it was a small office yet so cozy and neat. In front of her typewriter, there was a dark backpack and a manwon bill. I think it belongs to Hyesun who is tul-tul (free and easy and not caring)I was a bit worried that someone might steal her money.
12시 25분 2층으로 갔어요 제일먼저 입구에 보인 싸인컵 그리고 안으로 들어갔는데 글쎄 넓은 소파에 등을보이고 앉은
혜선양과 젋은 남자분이 담소를 나누고 있는게 아닙니까?
At 12:55, we went upstairs and who did we see there? GHS was sitting on the large sofa with her back towards us and a young man, chatting together.
우리가 첫 손님이라 텅빈 마놀린에 우리는 창피함을 무릅쓰고
혜선씨 옆테이블 고양이 쿠션이 있는 그곳에 앉았지요. 주문을 한후 쿠와 남자분의 담소를 들었는데 아는 지인인듯했고
그분이 선물을 쿠에게 주었고 쿠가 고맙다고 했어요.
We were the first customers there. We boldly sat at the table next to GHS, at the table with the kitty cushion. We tried to listen in on GHS's conversation. (WOW, my kind of fan!!!) The young man seemed like a friend. He gave her a gift and Koo said thank you to him.
그전에 남자분이 담배를 피우러 밖으로 나갔을때 친구가
쿠에게 사진을 찍어도 될까요? 물으니 사진은 안된다고 웃으며 말했습니다. 그림을 무엇으로 그렸나요 물으니
유화라고 했고 그림들에 제목을 써 주시면 더 이해하기 쉬울것 같다 하니 네 했어요.
When the man left to have a smoke outside, my friend boldly asked Koo if we could take pix with her and she said she does not take pix. She also said that she paints with oil painting.
저도 용기를 내어 혜선씨를 꽃남보고 좋아하게 되었고 천재같다말하니 웃으셨어요. 그리고 왜 그런질문을 했는지
모르겠으나 실례되는 질문을 글쎄 남자친구 있나요? 했더니 웃으며 얼마전에 헤어졌다 차였다 말했습니다.
5분정도 남자분과 담소를 나누다 두분 같이 나가셨어요.
I mustered up my courage to compliment GHS--that she is a genius. Koo laughed. Then, I don't know what got into me but I blurted out if she has a boyfriend now. She smiled and said that, not too long ago, she broke up--that he broke up with her, left her. After Koo and the young man talked for another 5 more minutes, they left together.
우리는 1시간반정도 더 있다가 테라스를 구경하고 다시
1층 갤러리에 가서 다시한번 그림을 보았습니다. 갤러리 바로 옆에 문이있고 불이켜 있었는데 왠지 쿠가 그곳에서
일을하고 있을것 같다는 느낌이 들었습니다.
After about one hour and half, we went down again to the gallery. We saw that her office was still open and lighted. I felt I can just imagine Koo sitting there and working,,,
혜선양은 요즘입는 미키마우스모자티 같은 옷을입고 모자를 쓰고 있었고 검은색 바지에 분홍나이키 운동화를 신고 있었는데
정말 이쁘더군요. 피부가 정말 하얗고 깨끗하고 눈이크고 정말 인형같더군요.
연예인을 그래도 많이 본 편인데 그녀는 정말 이뻤습니다.
Koo was wearing her mickey mouse hat and clothes with black pants and pink sneakers..She was really pretty. Her skin was white and clean with her large eyes---she looked really like a doll.
저는 사실 논스톱도 왕과나도 최강철우라는 작품도 본적이 없어요. 하지만 이제 보려고요.
연예인을 좋아한게 중고등학교때였던것 같은데 이렇게 좋아하다니.... 그녀는 정말 매력적입니다.
I never saw GHS's other dramas or NN5. But I am planning to watch them now. The last time I like a celebrity was when I was in high shcool....she is realy charming.
혜선양을 좋아하는 이유는 다른 여자연예인처럼 자신의 외모를 꾸미거나 패션쇼나 홍보하는 곳에 가서 얼굴을 비추는게 아니라
항상 무슨일이든 열심히 자기계발과 노력을 한다는것. 참 착실한 속이 알차고 꽉찬 똑똑한 배우, 감독인듯 합니다.
친구가 떠나기전 정말 좋은 추억을 만든것 같아 행복하네요.
The reason I like HYesun-yang is that she is different from other female celebrities. She does not focus so much attention on her outer appearance and show herself off in varous fashion shows. She is always doing something to try to improve who she is as a person. She is a stable, steady, down to earth frank, and smart actress and director.
항상 화려하게 응원은 하지않지만 소리없이 조용히 혜선양 쿠를 응원하겠습니다.
그녀는 분명 국민배우, 국민감독이 될거 같습니다.
I may not be a fan that root for her in grand style, but I sincerly root for her in my quiet ways. She is a true people's actress and people's director...I am sure of it for now and for future.
Ps: 남편과 아들에게 오늘겪은 이야기를 하니 너무 보고싶어 지어낸것 아니냐 인증을 하라하는데...흑!
