The truth seems like a lie. Elsie is doing her best. Really! For the first time since the start of the series.
LCが桂馬に電話をかけてきたのは、もう翌朝になってから。忙しすぎて事務所で一泊。
Elsie is calling Keima until the following morning. She has been so busy that she spent an entire night at the office.
桂馬は出演番組を全部録画しておいてやる、こちらは問題ないから心配するな、と伝え電話を切る 。
Keima puts on a recording of a TV talk-show so he can hang up the phone without worrying.
ハクア｢ンな～にが！！｣｢問題ないよ！！｣
｢この変態のぞき犯罪者！！｣｢死ね！！｣｢しかも最低の死に方で死ね！！｣
Hakua: "What is your problem!"
"You perverted peeping-tom! Die! Die the worst possible death!!"
桂馬｢悪かったって。｣｢こっちも裸だったし、お互い様だろ。｣
｢安心しろ。ボクも考え事をしてたし…｣｢お前の裸は ま っ た く 記 憶 に な い 。｣
Keima: "I told you I'm sorry. I'm also naked, so aren't we even?"
"Rest assured, I was deep in thought, so your nudity has been com-plete-ly-for-got-ten."
女としてのプライドを完膚なきまでにへし折られ、ハクアから怨念の地響きが。
Her pride as a woman being thus shattered, Hakua trembles with rage.
それはそうと、かのんとの噂は今も消えていない様子。
｢でも、｣｢昨夜(ゆうべ)の風呂のおかげで覚悟できたよ。｣｢女神を出す覚悟が。｣
(Incidentally, the rumors about Kanon are circulating even now.)

かばんからレポート用紙の束を取り出す。表紙には｢ENDING PLAN｣とだけ書かれている。

Ayumi: "What is this...is it addressed to me? 'Kei'...? Who could that be?"
手紙に従い屋上へ。待っていたのは、桂馬だった。
｢桂…｣｢え、えっと～～｣｢呼んだのダレだろ～～｣
Obeying the letter, she goes to the roof. Waiting there is Keima.

恥ずかしいのか、きょろきょろととぼけている。

とぼけきれなくなり、動きが止まる。
｢かのんのこと…｣｢怒ってるだろ…？｣

"Are you...upset about what happened with Kanon?"
歩美｢何？｣｢な、なんのこと言ってんの？｣｢なんで私が怒らないといけないの！？｣｢訳わか んない！！｣
Ayumi: "What? Wh-what are you talking about? Why should I be upset!? I don't get it!!"
桂馬｢怒ってるだろ、｣｢昨日の暴力はなんなんだよ！！｣｢あれは誤解なんだよ！！｣
Keima: "Of course you're upset! What else could yesterday's beating be about? That was a misunderstanding!!
立ち去ろうとしていた歩美は足を止め、振り返る。
Ayumi, who had just turned to leave, stops and looks back.
歩美｢誤解なんか…｣｢してないよ！！｣｢誤解じゃなくて本当のことじゃん！！｣
Ayumi: "There's no way...that I misunderstood! It wasn't a misunderstanding, it really happened!!"
かのんの告白現場を目の当たりにしたのもそうだが、校内新聞に色々と書かれている。

Keima: "Aah...dammit. It's like game-lines coming out of my mouth...A...A...Ayumi!! I, I l..."
歩美｢わあぁ(キック炸裂)｣｢な、なななな何言ってんのよ！！｣｢頭おかしいんじゃないの！？｣｢ばかっ ｣｢ばかっ｣｢ばか！！｣
Ayumi: "Waa(kicksplosion)" "Wa, whawhawhat are you saying!! Are you crazy!? Idiot-- idiot, idiot!!"
ぷすぷすと煙を吹き倒れる桂馬の顔面を踏みつけつつハクアが責めたてる。
As smoke and steam rises from Keima's battered face, Hakua chastises him.
ハクア｢今はまず女神の話でしょ！！｣｢な、何告白みたいなことやってんのよ！！｣
Hakua: "Weren't you just speaking with a goddess? You looked like you were about to confess to her!!"
桂馬｢みたいじゃない、｣｢あれは告白だよ。｣
Keima: "It didn't just look that way, it was a confession."
あっけにとられるハクアにかまわず、桂馬は次の相手、ちひろの帰りを狙い急ぐ。
Paying no heed to Hakua's shock, Keima rushes to his next target, Chihiro, who is about to go home.
コンビニからちひろが、新作肉まんを買って帰ってくる。そこを桂馬は待ちぶせる。
Chihiro goes to the convenience store to buy fresh meat buns, and Keima is waiting for her.
それとなく避けようとするちひろの進路を桂馬はさえぎる。
She tries to avoid him, but Keima confronts her.
ちひろ｢な、なんなのよ！！｣｢どいて！！｣
Chihiro: "Wha..What's your problem! Move!"
桂馬｢その…｣｢ご、ごめん！！｣｢かのんのことで…｣｢怒ってるだろ…？｣
Keima: "Uh...sorry!! Are you upset...about Kanon...?"
ハクア｢告白？｣｢なんでそんなことするの！！｣
Hakua: "Confessing? Why do such a thing!!"
桂馬｢今すぐ女神を出してもイミない。｣｢女神候補の娘にすべてを打ちあければ…｣
｢またはディアナと会わせれば女神はあっさり出るかもしれない。｣｢でもそれじゃ…｣｢女神の力が増 えない！！｣
Keima: "Right now, there is no reason to reveal the goddesses. If I were to strike at all the goddess candidates at once..."
"It should have been easy for Diana to meet a goddess. If this isn't the case, that means the goddesses are not gaining power!!"
出しただけでは女神はすぐ殺される。かといって桂馬に女神は守れない。
｢だから……｣｢女神自身に力をつけてもらうしかない！！｣｢女神の力は愛だ…｣｢だか らボクは…｣
｢女神がいる娘と…｣｢また恋をする！！｣｢今の流れはイベントが作りやすい。｣｢ここから始めて目 標は…｣｢もう一度キスだ。｣
To simply reveal the goddesses would could cause them to be killed. If that happened, Keima wouldn't be protecting the goddesses.
"So this is why...There is no other choice but to give the goddesses enough power to protect themselves! A goddess's power is love! Therefore, I will..."
"...love the girls with a goddess again! Right now it is simple to create events. My aim from this point onwards...is another kiss."
桂馬のちひろへの告白シーンが続いている。ハクアの手元にあるレポート用紙の内容と一字一句変わらないパタ ーン会話。
Keima's confession scene with Chihiro follows. Hakua holds the written report, which contains the conversation pattern, word-for-word.
ハクア(ちょっと待って！！恋をするって…)(ど…同時に？)(セリフぐらい変えなさいよ！！ )
Hakua: (Wait a minute! Loving them...simultaneously? Take that back!)
