Interview excerpts
JH: Actually, I havent given much thought on acting. But then I got an offer if I want to try this music movie. As I watched Japanese actor, Kimura Takuya, I thought that he was really cool, so I willingly took the offer.
MH; Since we were a trainee, we got music and acting training
JH & MH: Learning about music and being active as in Indie band for about a year in Japan was really a valuable experience for us. It helped us to potray the hungry mindset in the movie. While in Japan, we used secondhand amp and there were times when we had to starve in order to reduce living costs. Pulling th trolley carrying instruments and amp, giving out flyer and doing street performance, that was an unforgettable experience.
JH & MH: We want to do band music more than being a star
JH & MH: We didnt just learn about music (during trainee), we also learned many other things including acting.
JH: Ive also received an offer to do musicals, if there is a good production offer in the future, I will surely want to try it.
They also said that filming the movie was comfortable and a fun experience. The fans also gathered around in front of the Hongdae Rolling Hall when they were filming.
Jonghyun aspire to be a guitarist like Japanese band Bump of Chickens Masukawa Hiroaki and Bon Jovis Richie Sambora. While Minhyuk hopes to become a drummer like the Dream Theatres Mike Portnoy. They also like Maroon 5 and Linkin Park.
As of now the most important thing is our music and keep on training our acting to improve.
