The casts of MBC "Sebakwi" released a book.
Now we can find MBC's popular variety show "Sebakwi" (Producer: Park Hyun Suk) at the bookstores.
"Sebakwi, the family story" (Publisher: WooRin) will be released on the 3rd December. The book is a compilation of essays about all 14 fixed casts of MBC "Sebakwi", including Park Mi Sun, Im Ye Jin, Kim Ji Sun, Jo Hyung Gi, Kim Gu Ra, 2PM Jo Kwon.(t/n: no, I didn't type it wrong. The reporter herself typed "2PM Jo Kwon".)
The interesting point is that this book is not about the behind-the-scene of the show, but rather the stories of the casts themselves and their families. There are books written about the behind-the-scene stories of some shows out there, but this is the first time ever someone publishes a book that talks about the confessions and stories of the casts and their families.
The casts were cautious whether they should tell such stories in the book, but they were honest and they told their stories without any pretenses. In this book "Kkap Kwon" Jo Kwon honestly confessed about his earnest feelings towards his parents who have been devoting their all to him ever since before he made his debut as a singer.
2AM Chang Min also wrote about how he lived together with his big family of 4 generations when he was young and how he received a lot of love growing up.
Park Hyun Suk PD, who compiled the manuscript along with the casts, wrote the prologue for the book. "These are the stories that everybody can relate to, from light stories to very difficult personal stories, stories behind the glamor and brightness people see on TV, about family members, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, and grandsons, granddaughters. Everything is presented candidly in the book."
"Sebakwi, the family story" will be on sale at the bookstores starting from 3rd December as well as online sales. WooRin will invite about 50~60 online customers (chosen by lucky draw) to visit the set of "Sebakwi".
