Fan Signing – IMM Garden Plaza
I attended all 2AM events on Singapore (Fans Signing and Concert), but I guess it will be too long and boring if I put it all in 1 article. So I decided to make 2 articles. Hope you enjoy reading it!
I arrived at Singapore around 10 o’clock in the morning, and thanks to twilightelusion for picking me up (yes, twilightelusion is our board administrator), then I met another IAM who also came from Indonesia – Yobishi and Esther unnie. Have to admit that my suitcase that day was killing me slowly, because it was so heavy (for your information I brought all the 300 IAM Bracelets, plastic bags and 30 IAM Glowsticks) plus the fan made t-shirts. I think QueenVic mentioned on one of the thread that she will start queuing around 6.30 in the morning, honestly I thought it was a crazy idea. I mean the fans signing itself scheduled at 7.30 pm and I don’t think we should rush for it (clearly I was out of mind!). Then, twilightelusion told me that queenvic said people already start queuing and we have to go there as well if we want to get the best spot. So, soon after I reached my hotel we (yobishi, me and Esther Unnie) quickly changed our clothes, took our fan packs and rushing to IMM.
Since we were a bit in a rush and pessimistic about the fan packs (yes I admit that I wasn’t confident about selling the fan packs) we didn’t bring all of our packs to the venue. Back to the IMM, the fans signing venue was not crazily full but there were lots of people queuing. So, we quickly chose and saved our position by putting all of our back on the ground. Ah, forget to mention that I met queenvic and sam for the first time there. We started selling the bracelets and fans packs and trust me, those fan packs gone very fast. Glad that queenvic, other IAM whom I had just met there helped and announced the selling (thanks a lot guys). In the end, I had to go back to the hotel because our stocks on the venue were empty. I was truly impressed with all the IAMs that I met on the venue. They were great and nice. I guess this was one of the factors I didn’t get bored while waiting. We could talk about anything and not only about 2AM, what a great atmosphere! And I also learned that Adam Couple really has great effect, some 2AM fans started off as Adam Couple Fans and then turned in to 2AM fans. As it gets late, the queue turned to be very long and crowded; estimation 3000 people attended the fans signing.
Back to the topic. Soon as the fans signing getting closer, the MC asked us to stand up. This was the one time I felt uncomfortable because some were pushing around. But again, I can understand their need so it didn’t really bother me. The MC asked us to say “Annyeonghaseyo..Saranghaeyo” and made love gestures for the AM boys. Actually I didn’t have a clue on why we’re should be doing this. But again, since it was fun I did it anyway. And, after for awhile the MC asked the crowd whether they should made another events for the boys or not. Some said that they should open the umbrella because that suited the boys concept, but it was quickly rejected since not all IAM brought their umbrella and opened it up in such crowded place will be inconvenient. Ah yes, we also asked the MC to give the bracelets to our boys. Later, there will be interesting story about the bracelets. I really forgot whether the fans signing happened on 7.30 pm sharp or not, as I said I didn’t keep track of the time because I was comfortable. But once the boys appeared from the stage side, everybody screamed and called the boys name. I enjoyed the atmosphere! Well, I shouted a bit also I mean anybody on that situation and not shouting even once would considered as weird. Lucky that I had the space to take great photographs of the boys (you can see the photos on the Gallery section).
My first impressions of the boys when I could see them with my own eyes were: GORGEUS. They wore their white suit and looked like a prince. I seriously shocked to know that the boys are really handsome in person. Smooth and Flawless are also the correct words to describe their physical appearance. One thing that I curious was about their personality and attitude towards the fans. Yes, I have watched some of their appearance on the public before and they were nice but still I want to see it with my own eyes. I understand once 2AM landed in Singapore they had lots of schedule, but still I was impressed that 2AM still happily smiling and waving to the fans though they constantly screamed, flashing their camera to them. I truly respected them for this. They sang “Like Crazy 미친 듯이” and they were great plus IAM were crazy!!! They were singing along with 2AM (has to remind you that IAM who attended the fans signing are not using Korean as their first language so hearing them singing along perfectly was something different). I guess this is one of 2AM strongest point, they really can SING LIVE and really eligible to call themselves SINGER. Just check the 30 seconds video that I took.

Let’s talk about the bracelet, shall we? The MC really kept his promise, during his interview with the boys on the stage; he gave the boys our own designed bracelets. Yes, this bracelet to be exact.
And the boys were nice, they quickly tried to open the bracelet plastic package (and they had difficulty to open it), and wore it. And, they really showed the bracelet off so proudly. Have to admit that the boys might felt a bit uncomfortable to wear it since it might be too tight for them (except for Kwon) but they wore it until they finished their fans signing. Our boys are nice and kind. So, anyone who didn’t get the chance to buy the bracelets from us, quickly place your order and wear the bracelets as well. Almost all IAMs brought their gift for the boys, but since it was too crowded, the committee asked us to give the gift to them. Though a bit disappointed but I understand their consideration. 3000 people are not a small number, and I believe that the committee will do their job keeping the gift and give them to the boys. So, then the fans signing began. They began the queue with the winner of the private fans meeting and so on. I didn’t have to wait for long and it was my turn to meet the boys personally. My impression after watched them up close:
- Ong is really handsome and really love his hairstyle. And he even smiled at me and I ended up saying “Gamsahamnida” to him.
- Chang Min is also really white, handsome and keep on smiling.
- Kwonnie is also white and look so handsome..and he’s more handsome in person !!
- Jin Woon..oh well..our maknae is smiling all the time. He’s nice and he even patted one of the fans hand because she was crying. (I knew the fan who cried, she is 15 years old and really love Jin Woon, so I guess Jin Woon did the right thing).
Honestly, I was stunned when I met them up close. I don’t know why. I’m not a teenager anymore, but still meeting them is something different. So, this is one of the reason I lost in words while meeting them.
