On todays episode of SMAPxSMAP which aired on Fuji TV, SMAPs Katori Shingo was able to impress actress Ishihara Satomi with his curry ramen, which earned him the prize of a kiss on the cheek. The traditional winning ceremony turned out to be more awkward than usual and became quite a topic amongst netizens.
Todays guests on the included Sato Ryuta, Kamiji Yusuke and Ishihara Satomi from the movie Manzai Gang as well as the director Shinagawa Hiroshi. However, actress Ishihara herself was able to create the most memorable moment of the night.
It is a well-known tradition for the female guests to give the cook of their favorite meal a kiss on the cheek, but this time everything seemed a bit more awkward. Katori was playfully anticipating the kiss as usual, but Ishihara was blushing right from the beginning. Even host Nakai Masahiro became suspicious of her coyness for a moment.
