"แอนไม่ได้คิดว่าตัวเองทำอะไรผิดหรือเกิดมาผิดที่ อยากจะบอกทุกคนว่าให้เคารพตัวเอง แอนเจอมาหมดแล้ว ใหม่ๆก็เสียเซล์ฟนะเวลาที่รู้สึกว่าเรามีไม่เท่าคนอื่น กางเกงไม่มียี่ห้อ หรือว่าใส่รองเท้าแตะทะเล่อทะล่า ทำอะไรเฉิ่มๆ แล้วแอนก็เรียนรู้มัน สุดท้ายแอนก็...อ๋อ...เราไม่ต้องอายนี่ ไม่เห็นน่าเอยเลย ผ่านมาหมดแล้วค่ะ สิ่งเหล่านั้นมันกลายเป็นข้อดี เป็นวัคซีนที่ทำให้แอนแข็งแรงและรับสภาพอะไรก็ได้ ในความจนไม่ใช่เรื่องที่ไม่น่าเคารพ ในความจนมันก็มีเรื่องอะไรดีๆ มันคือโอกาสที่สอนเรา...แหม...แอนก็บอกไม่ถูกค่ะ จะไปปิดทำไม เรานึกว่าเราปิดได้แต่ที่จริงมันอาจมีคนที่อ่านเราออกมากกว่าตัวเราเองซะอีก"

Initially, I lost my self-confidence when I felt I didn’t have things as many as other people. Pants with no brand name or wearing sandal awkwardly, doing something embarrassingly, then I learned from a lack of funds. Finally, I got it…yeah...I must not feel ashamed, there’s no need to feel ashamed. I’ve gone through it. Those things turned to be the merit, being the vaccine that makes me strong and able to stand for any circumstances. In the poverty, it is not the issue that shouldn’t be respected. In the poverty, there is something good, it offers opportunity to teach us…well…I don’t know how to say, why did we need to hide our past? We may think that we can hide it but in fact there might be someone who can read us more transparently than ourselves”
