[110314] Gift set of emotion and laugh, 2AM's final performance in their nation-wide concert tour "The Last Time" [Concert Review]
2AM's soft voices told the coming of spring.
2AM concluded their "Saint O'clock" nation-wide concert tour on March 13 at Korea University, Seoul at 6 pm. That day marked the final concert in 2AM's first solo concert 2 years and 3 months after they made their debut. Park Jin Young, Bang Si Hyuk and Miss A came to show support.
That day 2AM presented sweet ballads and cute dance songs for the audience for about 180 minutes and around 20 songs. They started the show with "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and warmed the audience with their warm and soft voices which felt like the weather in spring.
Moreover, during the concert which also coincided with White Day, there was a segment where they accepted stories from fans and offered proposal time. Then they performed "Nagging", "The Day I Confess", "Eat Well" as well as songs from girl groups such as "So Hot", "Hot Issue", "Bad Girl Good Girl" in their own style.
But the highlight of the concert was definitely the parody of After School's "Bang". 2AM, who were expected to only sing ballad songs, came out with bright blue outfit and transformed into After School, thorougly showing off the "entertainment-dol" inside them. Chang Min and Jo Kwon's smooth waves and sensual expressions made the audience not only had fun listening to the song, but also had fun watching them.
That's not all. On his solo performance, Jo Kwon transformed into pop singer Lady Gaga and presented an inspiring performance. He appeared with the LED glasses and performed Lady Gaga's "Telephone". When he and the dancers did the sensual dance moves of Lady Gaga's perfectly, fans cheered loudly.
Chang Min and Seul Ong's solo performances were intense. Their sexy dance heated up the concert hall. Especially when they took off their shirts and did not forget to revealed their muscular bodies as fan service. And Jin Woon played an electric guitar, which was rarely seen, and transformed into a rocker.
That day Jin Woon also revealed an honest talk. Even though 2AM prepared something comical, in the honest video Jin Woon talked about his frustration and hopes. He, who up until now never sang the refrain part of the song, once went to a karaoke bar without telling his members and sang the refrain for "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" 52 times. And when the other members were busy with their solo activities, he said he wanted to embrace his rock instinct and release an album, making the audience laugh.
And on this concert, 2AM and Eight's Lee Hyun, together with Jewelry as guest stars, presented a sweet and cute performance.
2AM said their farewell to the fans with their encore song "You Wouldn't Answer My Call". Jo Kwon and maknae Jin Woon finally shed the tears they'd been holding back and showed their gratitude. In the end, 2AM performed their debut song "This Song" and then disappeared behind the stage. But because of the surprise event prepared by the staff and fans, 2AM once again appeared on the stage, sang "Lost", and then the concert finally ended.
