Q1: Please use a statement to describe CNBLUEs current stage.
Jonghyun: Ha! We are a music band that cannot be described with words.
Minhyuk: We would like to present to everyone in wider aspects, for example, we would like to emulate the strong points of many internationally recognised music bands.
Q2: What is the most challenging encounter from your debut till now?
Yonghwa: From the day we debuted, every minute is challenging!
Jonghyun: Previously, I went to the Busan International Film Festival with Minhyuk. This was something very exciting and nerve-racking to me, because I am from Busan. It was like going back to my hometown, I felt so honoured. It will be good if I can continue to participate like this again! Prior participation in the movie Acoustic had also made me more mature. I was cast as a person who has a strong passion towards music. Even though he was tormented (T/N: exact word used in the article is abused) by his brother, he cared for his brother from the bottom of his heart. Actually it was very difficult to show this type of mood entanglement, I was very pressurised before the shoot; then I also felt pressurised by Yonghwas concern. Ha! He jokingly said: How can you guys participate in a movie before me? Haha, he gave me a lot of advice that enabled me to become absorbed into the role. To be honest, I always have this feeling that I would be able to act better if I could redo this shoot.
Jungshin: Until now I have not yet encountered my greatest challenge.
Minhyuk: The biggest challenge is that our members are forever very noisy and keep forgetting things, haha. (Editor: What Minhyuk mentioned may be the biggest challenge)
Q3: What do you do when you are in a bad mood? Suggest a quick relief method that will make your mood change for the better.
Yonghwa: Take a shower, after that I will have a good sleep. A good sleep can make me feel that everything can start all over again!
Jonghyun: Playing the guitar makes me feel better, so when I am in a bad mood, I will play (my guitar) crazily. It feels like I am shooting with a weapon, ha.
Minhyuk: Indulging myself at the right time, for example, having a big feast, after which I will diet for two days and then repeat the cycle. In short, I will do some happy things to cheer and reward myself under possible situations.
Jungshin: Shopping, eating delicious food, talking to friends; attempt to get distracted from the bad mood.
Q4: If you were to help the other three members post a marriage-seeking ad , what strengths of theirs will you write?
Yonghwa: Jungshins character, which really is very cool. Minhyuks smile, which resembles a young baseball player, is very bright and cute that it makes people feel the power of sunshine. Jonghyuns voice sounds very nice when singing, and his eyes are electrifying, he will give you the feeling of romance!
Jonghyun: You will feel happy by being with Yonghwa, because he is very gentle and considerate, and he will make girls feel cherished. I think that he is the best lover in our band. For Minhyuk, how should I put it? Should say that he is perfect. I think that girls will like his lively and enthusiastic smile. Jungshin has a very reliable character he is a man who has great shoulders (T/N: a man whom you can rely on), he can give girls a sense of security.
Jungshin: Yonghwa has special magical power he is able to boost the good mood of the conversation on-the-spot, because he is extremely humorous. You will never feel nervous with him around. Minhyuk falls under two categories as a lover: one being the essence of charisma in which one can never guess what his inner thoughts are; the other being his brotherly sunshine smile.
Minhyuk: Yonghwa is really cool. His appearance is a combination of idol and trend, which warms our hearts and delight our eyes (T/N: being delighting and pleasing). Jonghyun gives people a pure feeling. He is actually a very simple man; you dont have to shield yourself (T/N: protect yourself) when you are with him. Jungshin has a very cool appearance, but he actually has a very shy soul, which is also the type that girls like.
Q5: Which member do you feel has the strangest character and behaviour?
Yonghwa: All of them are strange, ha. They are mysteriously active when I am sleeping, making so much noise and greatly disturbing me.
Jonghyun: Jungshin is very strange. Sometimes when we are almost late, he will still want to cycle over. Is that some kind of healthy exercise?
Minhyuk: All of us are strange. We four boys really like to stay at home and play online games.
Jungshin: To be honest, all our members are strange every day, for example, we would forget the same thing every day; there would definitely be one member crying over a movie that has nothing to cry about; I am also included as strange. I hope I still can recall any exceptionally strange thing!
Q6: What do you like about yourself; and on the contrary, what characteristic do you dislike about yourself?
Yonghwa: Very hardworking. My weak point is that I worked too hard, I think. Haha!
Jonghyun: I admire myself for being a little perfectionist, but I will get too nervous at times. I feel that my heart will beat very fast suddenly, its like I am living in such a hectic lifestyle and yet unable to truly relax myself.
Minhyuk: I like my serious self at work the most. Weak point is I still feel that I am not manly enough; many people praised that my smile looks girlish, but I disagree
I really want to change this!
Jungshin: Strong point is that I worked very hard to solve their problems. Sometimes I may seem as if nothing have happened (T/N: calm), but actually this is just to hide the weak side of me.
Q7: Tell us about the goals you would like to accomplish this year.
Yonghwa: I want to publish a picture album. Sometimes I really love to sketch, while sometimes I will also use the computer to draw and share with everyone.
Jonghyun: Its about music. I want to write 50 songs.
Minhyuk: I will put in more effort to become a more recognised drummer.
Jungshin: I want to learn more skills, including musical instruments, and then I hope to receive more challenges.
