2AM Proceeds with Live Performances – Day Two
The hottest idol ballad group had officially started their string of performances last April 28, 2011. Last April 27, 2011, 2AM already started their tour promotions as soon as they arrived. You can check their article out here.
During the second day, 2AM started it with a hearty breakfast over at EDSA Shangri-la hotel. After which, they proceeded to swim for a while. They feel that the weather in the Philippines is better as compared to Korea since they needed the hot rays of the sun at some point because even though it’s spring in Korea, it was still fairly cold. They had lunch after that and prepared themselves for the next schedule.
They boarded on a coaster to go to the ABS-CBN station compound for some recordings to show at MYX, a music channel in the Philippines. 2AM started rehearsing as soon as they have arrived and also did some sound checks and technical works. After which, they had themselves made up and went back to the studio for the actual recording. There were a lot of fans seated at the audience side and all of them had their excitement all bottled up, but you can sense that they want to scream out loud nevertheless. The show conducted an interview with 2AM with the help of their interpreter Jenny Kim. Then, they sang five songs. While performing the second song, ChangMin messed up twice so they sang the second song, Confessions of a Friend, thrice. In between breaks, the fans asked JoKwon about GaIn, his virtual ex-wife, and had him dance a short bit of the renowned couple dance. They also recorded some station IDs which could be seen on the MYX channel.
2AM left the station to proceed to the event place, Newport Plaza Mall at Resorts World Manila. However, the event got delayed due to the unexpected heavy traffic which almost took two hours.
When the group finally arrived, you can hear all of the screeching fans from afar. The front act of the event was a teen duo named Krissy and Ericka. They performed some cover songs. After that, 2AM livened up the stage with their performance of You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls. The venue was not enough for 500 fans and more but you could feel that every single one of them was enjoying it. Then, the group held a game entitled Finding JinWoon. The members would be shuffled onstage and one lucky fan would look for JinWoon by touching the boys. SeulOng was the first to have been held by the blindfolded fan and the screams were really deafening. Next was JoKwon. The screams got even louder because he unexpectedly hugged the fan tight. ChangMin hugged her just as tight too. Now, JinWoon was next. The fan really took advantage of the opportunity and touched his face, his hair, his arms and even his pecs, which got everyone screaming again. The ambiance of envy lowered down when the fan won the game and was abe to ask two questions. The boys then proceeded with their second song called Like Crazy. After that, they went on to sign more than 500 albums.
Since the boys requested to get acquainted to Manila even more, they were brought to the Manila Ocean Park and ate at the second floor named White Moon Bar which offered some Filipino meals accompanied by a breathtaking view of the Manila Bay. I won’t tell you any more of the dinner so I’ll just let you guess what happened next.
