"We Got Married" Kwon-Gain Couple? Real or Fake?
JoKwon and Gain, who are featured in MBC's "We Got Married Season 2" as a virtual married couple, are being suspected of being a real couple because of how they're talking and acting toward each other.
In the episode aired on the 16th, they showed hesitation and worriesome thoughts, wavering on the boundary of real and virtual. Gain was searching up "JoKwon's Woman" on the internet, and found a picture of JoKwon hugging a girl model in the swimming pool. She nagged him, saying, "Why are you hugging a girl? (Half) Naked?"
At this, JoKwon said, not able to hide looking surprised and fearful, tried to avoid answering. However, when Gain kept up consistantly answering, unwillingly said, "No...Wait..." He hesitated for a moment, and then finally answered, "This was fake!! And we're reality... Real!" Then Gain evaded her own question, too, saying, "We aren't virtual...Reality..." Watching this, the MCs at the studio suspiciously said, "Oh~ This is strange~ Strange~" Meanwhile, Gain downed a drink in a green bottle on the table like a bottle of liquor, making them laugh.
Even after all this, JoKwon repeated, emphasizing, "That was "Fake"" Gain, however, asked back angrily, "If it's fake, you can kiss and say that it didn't happen?"
In the black-room interview that followed, Gain worried, "It feels like when Kwon meets a girl that he really likes, and she asks about me, that he would say, "Gain noona was fake and you're reality!" So I had doubts about him really thinking that this is just virtual," showing her wavering between the border of reality and virtuality.
The viewers that had seen this episode commented, "Kwon and Gain couple are fishy!", "I want to know what Kwon and Gain couple's real feelings are", showing a lot of interest at the couple. Also, there were suspicions of, "Is this possibly just a script or set-up?"
Responding to these suspicions, the producer of 'We Got Married 2', Producer Jung YunJung, said through a phone conversation with SportsChosun T-News, "It's always real. This couple seems like these kind of problems always rise to the surface. I think the two people are both pretty young, so they get more easily immersed into these kind of situations." He then added, "Also, these two people are people that speak up truthfully about everything, so they don't really try to hide any truths. This is the attraction of Kwon and Gain couple."
Additionally, the episode aired on the 16th's watch ratings, recorded by the TNS MediaKorea, as 13.7%, leaving behind KBS 2TV's "Star Golden Bell" at 9.2%, SBS "Star Junior Show Lookalike" at 6.2%, each by 4.2%, and 7.3%, a wide berth, keeping up as the #1 spot in the most watched at the same time period.
