110627 2AM, the "first ever" idol to be honored Cool Guy
On 27th June, world renowned magazine "Men's Health" stated that all 4 members of 2AM were chosen as Cool Guys for the "6th Cool Guy Contest".
This 6th Cool Guy Contest is a contest in which they choose a man based on their external and internal health, wild nature, and intelligence to be uphold a "Cool Guy" character and be a role model.
People who were once chosen as Cool Guy include actor Lee Seo Jin (2007), singer Alex (2008), actor Lee Beom Soo (2009), and actor Han Jung Soo (2010).
As 2AM, who debuted with "This Song" and gained a lot of love with "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and "I Was Wrong", is chosen to be the Cool Guys of 2011, they are the first ever idols to be chosen as a Cool Guy.
The editor-in-chief for Men's Health, Baek Seung Gwan explained the reason 2AM is chosen as Cool Guys. He said, "2AM's sweet vocal and great bodies show us what the Cool Guy Contest is all about, which is to choose a man with healthy body and healthy mind."
The Cool Guy ceremony will be held on 30th June at Central City, Millennium Hall, Gangnam.
This ceremony will also honor the Best Cover Model (Tiger JK, 2010 June edition), Vital Woman (Lee Yoon Ji), and Best Singer (Bada).
