สิ่งที่ดีที่สุดในการเป็นนางเอกตลอด 20 ปี คืออะไรคะ

มันคือความสุขค่ะ 20 ปีนี่แอนมีความสุขจริงๆ แอนได้อยู่ในบทบาทของนางเอกแต่ละคนมาถึง 30-40 คนแล้วนะ นั่นน่ะคือสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดของแอนแล้ว และมันคือช่วงเวลาที่แอนมีความสุข ตื่นเช้าแอนได้ออกกอง สวมวิญญาณของนักแสดงคนนั้นๆ ส่วนการรับบทเป็นนางเอก 20 ปี อีกด้านนึงก็คือ ประชาชนคนไทยเค้าเมตตาเอ็นดูเรา ทำให้แอนรู้สึกว่าแอนอยู่ในสังคมไทยได้ไม่โดดเดี่ยว ต่อให้หน้าแอนจะแก่หรือเค้าไม่ได้รักแอนเหมือนที่รักในอดีต คนนิยมชมชอบเหมือนดาราวัยรุ่น แต่แอนก็ยังเชื่อว่าจะยังมีคนรู้จักเราทั่วประเทศ ไปไหนก็ไม่ต้องกลัว ไปตายที่ไหนคนก็รู้ว่านี่ศพของแอน ทองประสม ทำให้แอนรู้สึกว่ามีคนเอาเรากลับ บ้านถูก เพราะ 20 ปีที่เราได้ทำอาชีพนี้ ได้ทำงานอยู่ตรงนี้ แล้วอยู่ด้วยความเมตตาเราจากคนส่วนใหญ่ นี่แหละความสุขสำหรับแอน

What’s the best thing, having been the main actress for 20 years?

It is the happiness. I’m really happy, I’ve been in the role of each main actress up to now 30-40 characters. That’s the best thing in my life and it’s the moment of my happiness as well. I got up in the morning and went to the set location, soulfully played the given character. Regarding playing the main actress for 20 years, another side is Thai people give the kindness and love to me. It makes me feel that I don’t live in Thai society alone even my face is not young or they don’t love me as they did in the past or adore me like the teen stars but I still believe that there’ll be people knowing me across the country. I need not be scared of going anywhere, or in case die anywhere people will know that this is the body of Ann Thongprasom, it makes me feel that people will take me home. Because 20 years that I’ve been carrying out this career and working here and live with the kindness of most people, this is my happiness.
